I read all of the comments from the OP. Good points are raised. Since when must you accept that the world view of others, is just as valid as yours? Pretending that is the case, does a disservice to all. Recusing yourself from working with a client whose lifestyle, or whatever, you find abhorrent, would at least be honest.
However, I guess we are not talking about honesty here. We should all pretend that all things, all ideas are equal, lest anyone be offended.
I wonder how they deal with muslim students.
What kind of degree or grades does this person expect to receive from a masters program that will likely fight her at every turn when she presents her thesis?
She should cut her losses, see what credits will transfer, and look for a program more ‘open’ to there being more than one way of thinking.
Exactly my thought as well. If they are not holding Muslims to the same standard they will (or should) have a difficult time defending their position.
