There is nothing like an effort to legalize millions of illegal immigrants to peek Democrat's interest in border security.
An emerging immigration proposal by three Democratic senators calls for more federal enforcement agents and other border security-tightening benchmarks before illegal immigrants could become legal U.S. residents. Those goals "must be met before action can be taken to adjust the status of people already in the United States illegally," according to a copy of the draft legislation, obtained Wednesday by The Associated Press, that Sens. Harry Reid of Nevada, Charles Schumer of New York and Robert Menendez are developing.Of course, Democrats don't really want border security. In 2006 42 Senate Democrats voted against a law to build a border fence. They wanted to consult Mexico.
Forty-two Democrats voted against legislation that would have built a border fence to stop the flow of illegal aliens and drugs across our borders. In fact, it was Democrat Christopher Dodd of Connecticut whose amendment was attached to the legislation that would require the U.S. government to consult with the Mexican government before building a fence along our southern border.The same year 214 House Democrats voted against funding a border fence.

Wasn’t it prove the border is secure and then we get rid of the illegals ... then we look at reform legal immigration?

The Dims simply lack any credibility at all on this issue. And the country is now aware of that. If the Dims were smart they’d run away from any immigration “reform” bill this year, because they will come off looking even more foolish than they now presently appear.

Oh, they know that. They also know it is a hell of a lot easier for them to come up here and trash the U.S. than it is to clean up their own mess in Mexico. Mexicans are, among other things, incredibly lazy when it comes to the responsibility of running a government. That is why Mexico will always be the third-world toilet that it is.
They will do anything for 20 million votes. As usual back at the ranch. The RINOS will happily accomodate them. I am getting real sick of spineless lame ass Republicans.

Also, have you ever wondered why Central Americans, South Americans, Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Spaniards, etc. despise Mexicans so much? It’s because Mexicans give hispanics a bad name.
