Tea Party Patriots - win the war of words

I suspect that many of us have debated with liberals on various topics and the Tea Party has come into the conversation. Liberals titter at their grade-school sexual slang when they refer to the "teabaggers". I submit that to ignore this is to cede the battleground of terms. But to simply argue about the term "teabagger" does nothing other than to put one on the defensive and reinforces the use of the term. My suggestion is that instead of arguing about "teabaggers" instead use the term Tea Party Patriot instead of Tea Partiers. The shift in term is both accurate and provides a positive term to counter the negative of the liberals.

TOPICS: Miscellaneous; Politics; Society
KEYWORDS: party; tea; teabagger; teaparty

There are pictures out there of people at the tea parties with signs calling themselves “teabaggers” so it is hard to get upset when others say it.

Just tell them that if they insist in using a disgusting homosexual practice to describe Tea Party patriots that you will consider them incapable of intelligent conversation and end it.

Instead of determining what we call ourselves, let's rather put focus on the libs counter Tea Part Movement. Didn't they start something called the Coffee Drinkers or some such thing.

How is that movement doing?

We were at the Tea Party Express III party here in Huntsville this afternoon and they mentioned with Joe Biden using the “f” word and Rahm using it . . . . that they don’t deserve respect.

It was an awesome afternoon. We had the party right underneath the huge space shuttle with solid rocket boosters on display at the Space & Rocket Center. I was able to get a couple of CD souvenirs and have them autographed. We took the kids too. Mostly over 50 crowd but some younger.

What was interesting . . . my 16 yr. old daughter . . . said all her friends were jealous that she got to go and they didn’t. I said, you should have invited them, we’d have driven both Expeditions and filled them up. I was pleased to hear so many of her friends were upcoming young conservatives. Can you believe high school kids wishing they could have gone with us? There is hope. :)

Most of the people using the vulgar term “teabagger” are FISTERS. Fisters applies to the communist clenched fist and the 0bama fist bump. No sexual innuendo intended.

It should just be “patriots”, with the other side being referred to as traitors.

I had a lib in a coffee shop insist on calling us “teabaggers”. I refused to continue the conversation until he explained why he used homophobic slurs to describe his political opponents. He couldn’t. After three repeated challenges to his homophobic attack, he conceded the point, and called us Tea Partiers.

It doesn't upset me, but it is hard to take the liberal seriously (and maybe looking to take them seriously is my initial mistake) when they act like a halfwit 13 yr old.
