B.S. was always going to vote for the bill. He knew better than to be on the wrong side of the party machine. All he needed was cover so as not to alienate his base. And once he got cover from the African muslim in the form of a sham executive order, which could be rescinded tomorrow, he was good to go. It's up to his voters now. If they have an ounce of conviction in their beliefs, they will dump his salt and pepper rear end into the street in November.
There are no moderate Dems. They’re all stupakers. That’s what they need to be called. It’s a perfect shorthand.
I agree, and my guess is he also got some personal perks from this as well.
Gee... ya think?
Of course he was. It was never anything more than a ploy for attention.
But he obviously didn’t have a plan for the end game, he had no exit strategy.
He needed Obama to give him an excuse, and in the end Obama played hardball and gave Stupak the most transparently fake cover possible.
Obama knows Stupak will pay a price for his grandstanding, that’s the whole point of the joke of an executive order. It’s payback for the drama.
Of course it was. They were waiting for whatever they could get to save face with their constituents. There was never any doubt that they would reveal their true colors. You can’t honestly be anti-abortion in this day and age and be a democrat.
You are absolutely right. This was choreographed from the start so that Adolf Obama’s “I promise to be good” pledge would receive maximum positive spin.
Well, duh!
39,000 Nuns fell for it too.
Anyone who doesnt think this bill will pay for abortions is a brain dead fool.

They are democrats. Democrats in power only believe in Marx. Democrat voters only believe in handouts. He’ll offer them some shiny baubles in November and cruise to victory. They are all as much the enemy as a Soviet tank commander, a Waffen-SS soldier, or a British redcoat.
It took 5 posts??
I agree. Had he been a man of true principal...he wouldnt have caved. An executive order is unconstitutional and a joke.
I was shocked to learn (yesterday) the Catholic Church actually views healthcare as a “right.” No wonder Mel Gibson formed his own church.
Bart Stupak
To the headline: duh!
I know, I know.. it's so obvious my post sounds almost stupid. But I held on to a glimmer of hope that maybe in the end Stu and his band would save the day.
"Do ya think, DiNozzo?"
