Is Fox News tilting toward the Arabs?

I wondered how long it would take after Saudi money was insinuated into Rupert Murdoch's empire before anti-Semitism hit the Fox News airwaves in the form of tug-at-your-heart, pro-Arab, mini-hit pieces against the State of Israel. It didn't take long.

Did anyone notice Shepard Smith's passionate rant against Israel on behalf of the Palestinian Arabs a few days ago? I always thought Smith was just a smarmy, jock-type teeny-bopper. But he obviously knows which side his bread is buttered on, and he is fully capable of getting all lathered up over something about which he is absolutely ignorant.

Today on Fox News, Amy Kellogg did another hit piece on Israel, using a cute little heart-strings-tugger about the peaceful Syrian civilians who picnic on the Golan Heights in nostalgic longing for the times when it belonged to Syria. Of course, there was no mention of the carnage and slaughter inflicted on peaceful Israeli citizens when the Syrians were in charge of the Golan. Apparently, there's no nostalgia in that.

But, what I am wondering is this: since, by its own definition, Fox News is "fair and balanced," where are all the tug-at-your-heart-strings pieces about dispossessed Middle Eastern Jews and innocent Israeli citizens? What's that? Did someone say there aren't any Saudi Princes bankrolling propaganda pieces about non-Arabs in the Middle East? Well, well, who would ever suspect that the power of petro-dollars would turn Fox News into just another anti-Israel propaganda outlet?

I didn’t see those two clips that the article mentions, but really, I don’t see it this way. The Arab world is much bigger than just Palestine. If there’s more coverage of the rest of the Arab world, that could do a lot in my opinion for transparency in those countries. Of course Syria is still a mess, but there is a lot more going on in places like Jordan and the UAE unrelated to Israel.

Fox forgot to cover the Israeli kids I saw last year on field trips with parents/guardians along side with automatic weapons to prevent slaughter by unhappy Palestinians. After seven little girls were gunned down on a field trip a few years back, kids never leave school without security.

I have been more focused on FBN, not FNC. They have been airing a series of reports stating that several Arab states are upcoming markets to invest. The series have focused on the potential and they have interviewed a number of gov't officials and some movers and shakers. What has not been reported is the risk: what are their accounting stds, what is their judicial system to enforce contracts and so forth.

I had not pieced this together as a pro-Muslim or pro-Arab (not all mideasterners are Arab) spin. Yet.

Shep Smith has always been a bleeding-heart leftist drama queen.

But yeah, FNC in general has taken a noticeable turn toward the Arabist view of the Middle East. ...which is one of the reasons my FNC viewing has substantially decreased over the past couple years.

What about showing MORE OFTEN what Israel have to endure with constant DAILY attacks from palestinians, arab nations, insults and antisemitism developing as much in the world that it was in 1938 that jews have to leave some countries because the attaches from muslims populace are becoming unbearable, mainly in Europe??? Threats from Iran etc...do we hear that as often as "Muslims are nice people" ??? NO WE DON'T!

In fact, the “drift” noted by others has prompted me to rely more on the net for news as Fox slowly descends into the crapper on the NEWS side.

Israel is on its own. It has been ever since Obama was elected POTUS. You would have thought that the Jews would have figured this out long ago. Unless Israel takes it upon itself to provide for its own security, it will not be around ten years from now. Does anyone believe that Iran would not nuke Israel when it obtains enough nukes to utterly kill every living creature in Israel?
