Our Congress critters work in Public Buildings, open to the public....access is thru an Airport metal detector, and then you can walk the halls.......all the way to slaughter’s Office.
Bring a ONE Page handout, and drop it at Slaughters office.
The constitution is PERSONAL....and we can also be PERSONAL and in Person banging on their office door, that we pay for.

IMHO, she should be tried for her crimes and thrown in prison.

Louise Slaughter is an enemy of the Constitution and the Republic if she does not abide by it. Many of us are sworn to destroy all of its enemies both foreign and domestic. She is a domestic enemy of it and at the very least should be expelled from Congress, investigated for corruption (bribes etc) and tried/imprisoned if any criminal activity is discovered. If found guilty she should be punished to the fullest extent of the law with no mercy whatsoever. Those who make the laws are not above them and are more highly accountable to follow them.

November will be too late.
In normal times Slaughter could be shrugged off. But, in the current climate, the direct affront to the Constitution is hard to dismiss. It's like a CongressCritter shouting “We are going to take over Mexico!!” We would normally just say..another kook. But all of a sudden there are tanks at the border and the crazy statement, or thought, takes on another nuance. (clumsy analogy, I know, but I hope you know the point I am trying to make.)
Your point is good about the Treason clause. My question is, if desperation sets in, and the Slaughter option is used to pass an unconstitutional rule or law, what then? Will all the perpetrators be protected by the Speech and Debate clause, in a document they have ignored?
I hear on one hand the idea has been shelved...on the other hand it hasn't.
So...worst case scenario...what should (or could) be done?
An extremely bloody and violent civil war is more than likely to erupt from the implementation of such a thing.

Well the irony is - we respect and honor that Document and the rule of law, even if they don’t. Their position as usurpers and radicals (those who tear down) - is in some ways magnitudes easier than those who defend and build up (a nation.)
Public exhibitions of tar and feathering of Washington politicians would likely make for profound ‘hope and change’ TV watching.

Strikes, by labor and capital, road closures. civil disobedience. This is almost a city versus countryside tension as we'd read about in the history books of late Medieval/early Renaissance Europe. Possible aims include devolution or secession. Or consider the purchase of rights like medieval city-states from Counts, Dukes and Kings who had run out of funds. There are certainly more possibilities as the situation is now fluid.
Keep the faith, baby (that's a sixties-ism)! One door closes, but another opens.

They are certainly tearing at the seams of this once great nation. As you mention secession, I’m looking very closely at what the state legislatures are up to - both the 10th Amend. moves and the moves to counter socialistcare.
It may be time for responsible people to let the blue states like MI and CA devolve into the chaos of their own making and go support a seceeding, or threatening to seceed state.
