Millions in America watched the Academy Awards in record numbers but one of the biggest wins of the night had to have been the 45-year-old actress Sandra Bullock who won Best Actress for her winning colorblind portrayal of a real-life story.
Ms. Bullock played Leigh Anne Tuohy who demonstrated great moral character in helping Michael Oher’s on-screen character when he was homeless as well as educationally rudderless. This was truly an example of Christian love.
Others in America were not so kind in their acceptance of Sandra Bullock in this role. Some called it patronizing and contrived to think that a white family would be so altruistic. Many in the black viewing audience believe that...

Somebody’s always gunna find somethin’ wrong with anything. It’s always MUCH easier to tear down, than to build up..
White families were happily adopting black children until liberals (white and black) decided that black children should not be raised "white" but "black" as their parents are.
It's the "black experience" that the child in question, would miss out on, say the libs, so the interracial adoptions were put on the shelf.
This line we hear recently from the black racist that somehow this movie is bad because it shows a black man as being dependent on the good graciousnesss of white people to help him. Well two points. Where were the black people to help this man. Or were they just assuming that that was the governments job. Also, I would add that if you went out to a Habitat For Humanity build on a typical saturday you would likely see a single black mom with maybe one or two kids surrounded by what are mostly white people volunteering to help this black mom build her home. Would these same people also like to condemn Habitat For Humanity?
I’m in GA and I know of several families that have done the exact same thing as the Touhy’s.
I don’t know Leigh Anne Tuohy, but I know another white family that raised a black child to become a player in the NBA.
Hey dumb@ss, its a real story. The "some" who call it "patronizing" and don't believe it are anti-white bigots who have been fed "Whitey is the Devil" for decades and willfully eat it up.

I went to school with 3 black kids who were raised by a white couple. The natural parents had been friends with the white couple but the parents died in a car accident so the white couple raised them as their own.
Keep in mind this was a pretty rural and 100% -3 white district.
....some SEC football fans thought the real story was really a bit of shady recruiting by Ole Miss using Touey as a surrogate.
2010 is not on that list.
