Digg/Reddit/Yahoo and Twitter Dominated by Liberals.
The Silent Majority ^ | 02-19-10 | Robert Ehrenkaufer

As a conservative trying to spread the word I have posted articles of a conservative nature on most of the popular Social Media Sites. Digg, Reddit, Yahoo Buzz and Twitter to name just a few. What I have found is that these sites are as dominated by liberal activists as the main stream media.

That's not to say that there are not conservatives on these sites, there are, what I am saying is their voices are buried. Anyone who has submitted a right leaning story on Digg can attest to the fact that it is quickly buried and the comment section becomes filled with ad hominem attacks against the submitter.

It’s all about signal to noise ratio. As noisy as FreeRepublic can be, it’s as clear as a bell compared to those other sites.

Most liberals don’t work very hard and they are on the computer more hours than hard working conservatives.

I’d say it’s more complicated. It really depends on the interest level of the subject at hand. Certain things attract flies while others attract conservatives. I followed up a dig for “FDR was evil” and it had a bunch of conservative postings. A liberal won’t come to that conclusion and end up at that thread.

Thank goodness there are other options, like Guggle, Facebook and Utube, etc.

Bush, Cheney, Palin, Marijuana, Israel, Atheism and Sex. That’s basically what is talked about.

I’ve been on all of those sites. I post on them, and laugh at the convoluted logic that the liberals use in their responses. Buzz seems to have more Conservatives than the others. There also seems to be a few Conservatives on Amplify, which is a newer site.
