Palin Made a Mistake

I may catch some flak for this, but I’m prepared. While I very much like Sarah Palin and what she represents, I do believe she made a serious error when answering a question concerning the issue of Barack Obama’s birth certificate.

A new contributor to Feed Your ADHD makes some valid points about Palin, the birth certificate issue, and our own responsibilities for correcting the politicians we vote for.

I think she very subtly slid it out on the table. I thought it was masterful.

Or maybe Conservatives should not be so quick to fall for what ever spin the junk media spews out about her.

Find it amusing that no matter how many times the Leftist media lies to them, a certain sort of “Conservative” will still buy their every words as gospel truth rather take anything they print with a massive grain of salt. This article is total BS.

As usual, the Junk Media attacked her, she corrected their misstatements about her position and they attack her for “Flip flopping” when she did no such thing. She merely corrected THEIR misstatements about what she said.

She merely pointed out that if it is ok for the Left to question her on Trig’s birth certificate, it is ok for others to question Obama on his. She did not demand anything of Obama or “join the birther movement as this fraud of a “journalist” is trying to claim.

Her statements on this issue are completely consistent, the Democrat party hack pretending to be a “journalist” at US News who is pushing this lie should be fired for journalistic fraud.

He is deliberately lying about what she said by placing his own interpenetration on her words rather then factually reporting them, he then misrepresenting her response as being something completely different from what she actually said.

No Al Qeda PR agent Captain Kirk made a mistake by not bothering to get the facts before posting yet another of his usual hyper ignorant post.

This is actually one of the things we who support her have been looking for. Consider it ticked off the list...at least my list...

IMHO if she erred, it was to the side of weakness. If Our Glorious Reader is what I think he is (an illegal alien), the Nation suffers, however unknowingly, every day he occupies the office, and can only begin to heal when he leaves it. It would be good for me to hear Sarah say so, but I do not require it for my continued support.

I see nothing wrong with wanting the Constitutional requirements for President to be validated.

Whether you are a birther or not that is the simple solution.

Just meet the requirements and be ready to prove it.

Obama has not proven it .

Sarah is only asking what all Americans should be asking, Show us the Birth Certificate. If you have it, what is the problem?

I agree-I’m liking her more and more.

McCain, the Kennebunkport Kid, and the GOP should have raised this issue last year. True to form, the “poker player/attack pilot”, etc went to full jelly-spined, “above the fray” mode on the BC, Rev. Wright, etc and let BO play them like a fiddle.

‘Bout damned time someone in the public eye brings up this very legit issue.

Mistake? I gotta disagree.

Once again, Sarah spoke the TRUTH that needs to be said - in a tactful way, without sounding like a wacko.

Ignore what the leftist news say in their assessments of ANYTHING she says and listen to it for what it is - plain old common sense from a NORMAL human being.

Instead of this tripe, how about pointing out that the left went after McCain for where he was born AND questioned Trig’s birth? Instead you’d rather feed the beasts. Repeating the Dems and MSM’s talking points, you are validating them. That’s very stupid.

Her introduction to the issue would have been a lot more powerful if it had come from a sitting Governor who could push for a bill in Alaska to require candidates to show proper documentation before appearing on the ballot. But she decided to give up the governorship so she could utilize the political clout of a Facebook poster.

Sarah corrected herself within hours by posting on Facebook that she wasn’t a birther.

#1) Trig was not a candidate for POTUS - his place of birth was not in dispute. Hatemongers raised a phony issue to trash Sarah. They were not concerned about the Constitution or Sarah’s citizenship eligibility.

#2) Obama was a candidate for the US Presidency. As such, he never provided proof of his birth place. As POTUS, he has spent $millions to keep his birth place, his passports and his college records secret from US citizens.

Investigating unclear or questionable circumstances is not a lunatic fringe exercise. It is legitimate inquiry.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!

I think one of her greatest qualities is that she will answer a question like that. It is about time a politician answers a question in english vs double speak.

A “paranoid consperacy mindset” like the crazy kooks, i.e. “deniers” who dare not believe in anthropogenic climate change?

Please, this wasn’t a serious error.

A serious error would have been, if, as Gov., Palin went whole-hog on the climate change hysteria and signed kneejerk legislation to “prevent” a phony catastrophe.

Here she was making the point that, while asking about Trig’s origins were in a way just as bad as hammering Obama for his BC, both sets of questions are indeed legitimate in a free society.

We’ll all rue the day when no questions can be asked of any of our candidates.

RINO alert. When the Republicans take over the house in 2010 they will decide what to do with this issue.
