I just came across this on the web and it displays an arguement FOR the use of hidden cameras. Part of this may have been on Hannity last night. I mean, what is the deal with these people....do they watch any news at all? Are they aware....oh, forget it!
My ‘puter won’t let me into the link, but I think I know what you’re talking about. Same people posing as pimp and prostitute asking for money from ACORN. One of the employees was willing at first to “help,” until he heard that the business venture would involve underage prostitutes. The employee is being lauded as having some conscience — not wanting to help a “business venture” that involves child prostitution.
Thing is, ACORN feels it’s invincible. Sure they lost federal funding, but they do have the messiah in their corner, and it’s possible that if they whine enough, that funding will be restored. As it is, the organization has sued to get that money back, and if some idiot judge rules in their favor, they could still be defrauding the taxpayers. Nothing will really change until the group and its leaders are prosecuted for the criminals they are.
I was assuming all of these “Pimp and prostitute goes to ACORN” videos were recorded (and even videos not released yet) months before the original story broke some months ago. Not even ACORN is that stupid as I’m sure they are all told to NOT fall for this trap since the news covered this story for weeks.
If these are old videos, then DOUBLE shame on ACORN! Wouldn’t an internal investigation have been in order since the original story broke some months ago? A bad tree does not bear good fruit!
I would think this would be worse has these been new videos that were shot months after the originals as it would mean ACORN is too stupid to learn from their mistakes of being secretly video-taped and would allow it to happen again when they should be on their best behavior.
