On August 28, 2009 I posted a prayer request for a US Navy Veteran, my older brother the "Senior Chief" (HTCS).
On November 10th at the Malcolm Randall Memorial VA Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, Senior Chief Jimmy G. had laproscopic surgery for the tumor removal and esophageal/stomach resection. The surgery went smoothly and he is presently in ICU for the next few days and is expected to be home in Jax, Fl within the next ten days.
As a side note, let me tell you that I visited Senior Chief during his chemo-radiation treatments and was with him and his family in Gainesville during the surgery. The care and support that the family received from the doctors, nurses and staff at Randall VA Hospital was OUTSTANDING!
Please lift prayers for a comfortable and speedy recovery for Senior Chief...
