When you are a community organizer and under attack there is only one thing to do, bring out the race card. The latest count shows ACORN under investigation in 20 states, its employees were charged with more than 50 counts of election-related fraud, and that ACORN has spent more than $1 million on restitution to avoid criminal prosecutions (although the Louisiana AG says that number is closer to $5 million). And that doesn't even count the videotape/prostitution scam. The is more than enough evidence to show that ACORN is corrupt throughout its vast organization and in so many ways.
But not according to Bertha Lewis the CEO of ACORN. In a rambling statement given at the national press club today, Lewis called the attacks against the organization McCarthy-like and hinted the reason for the attacks were because they help "people of color." And the entire thing was started by Carl Rove.

And just where is the surprise in that?
Two words, Bertha: bite me.
Well that’s why we sent Katrina to New Orleans. ACLOWN was based there.
To Bertha Lewis:sorry, your race card transaction was not approved. now shut up and go home. And take your ACORN crooks with you.
I can’t take it anymore.
Another racer conspiracist.
I bet they’re also: homophobes, sexists, ageists, birthers ...
Carl Rove will go down as the most powerful man in the history of the world.
Hey, pretty good....something like...”We are sorry, this transaction will not be processed as there is insufficient credibility in your ‘race-advantage’ account”
Karl, too.
Well, it IS racist to try to stop election fraud and prevent government funding of child prostitution.
Didn’t you all get the memo?
For the whole series of Zero dollar bills, go here:
Louisiana Politics - ACORN embezzlement 5 million, not one million
“For many years, there’ve been folks who’ve disagreed with our ideology or methodology that has gone after us,” Mrs. Lewis, ACORN’s chief executive officer
(She forgot to preface the end of the sentence with “a vast right-wing conspiracy”?)
“They has gone after you? Ms Lewis, you is under arrest! You dasn’t needs to speak. If you gives up that right, anything you says will be holded against you. You has the right to a mouthpiece. If you cain’t affords one, one will be ... “
The Grammer Po-leece, Five Oh
If they’ve committed election fraud, don’t they need to stop? Or is to suggest this racist?
Well from the post, it sounds like she did not actually say that they were racist, so I think the title is misleading if not wrong.
