An Inconvenient Friday: Stupid Hypocrisy, Windmills and Steve McNair

The new "green" movie, The Age of Stupid, attacks the idea of flying in airplanes because the producers believe it is harmful for the environment. Guess how most of the promoters and producers of this film arrived at the Manhattan premiere? The answer is wonderfully provided in this video featuring Phelim McAleer.

Well, the enlightened people, the IMPORTANT people, need to be able to jet about the world to spread their wisdom. And the little guy, the working stiff, needs to accept their wisdom and quit flying his family down to Disneyworld for vacations - they should just camp in their backyard instead.

It's just that simple, you see.

typical 'do as i say, not as i do'. much like al gore's inconvenient picture of his example of how we should combat global warming by having several huge monitors/systems running simultaneously. (not to mention...looks like he has several forests' worth of dead trees there!)

Yep, Al Gore is the Pope of the Church of Global Warming.

Remember his big global warming concert in London a couple of years ago? I wonder what the carbon footprint of that was? I wonder how many of those rock and roll singers arrived by private jet?

Maybe they bought carbon credits to absolve themselves for their contribution to global warming.

One of my biggest objections to Al Gore and global warming are the carbon credits. If emissions of the greenhouse gases are bad, then these green people should set an example and cut back on same. You shouldn’t be able to get an exemption because you buy a carbon credit.
