This just looks bad. Really bad. The New York Times Company has been required to reveal startling management incompetence, an inability to correctly apply its own executive compensation scheme to the top two figures in the company, overpaying the bosses. Publicly-traded corporations like the Times must file a Form 8K within four days of various events, so the details of the screw-up are now on the record. The company filed the 8K following the end of trading yesterday. A summary of the substance is here.

Hopefully it will follow the Chicago Sun-Times to the door of the plane and jump before remembering they have no chute.

There is nothing honorable in the heart of Pinch Sulzberger. As the Times slowly subsides under the weight of its toxic belief system, and its inability to adapt to the new world of the internet, I say good riddance to Pinch and to the whole destructive lot of them.
The NYT will have the same fate as the homosexuals who dominate it: it will die and leave no descendants.
To the extent they weaken the NYT by stealing from it, they are hastening there own death and killing the hand that feeds them.
We must cheer them on.
Why am I not shocked?
Incompetence on the march every day the list gets longer.
Finally, we have some good news from the New York Times.
Shared corporate values being as important as they are, this renders the New York Times ripe for a merger with ACORN.
