I agree with the guy in the audience. There’s going to be an uprisimg in this country that will make the Boston Tea Party look like a picnic! Unless these arrogant bastards stsart listening ( they won’t) the lids going to blow.
“This is a complex issue” - Translation: “You voters are too stupid to understand”.
Arrogant or not, this is an epidemic of congressmen going home to VERY hostile town meetings. If this reaches critical mass, look out.
What if, when he threatened to call the sheriff, the crowd,in anger, rushed him and he found himself stabbed or shot to death - it is not inconceivable with this many people this angry together.
I suspect it would be the “shot heard ‘round the country”.

Something somewhere has to give. We The People are being pushed beyond our limits.

Unfortunately, that could be the excuse for Obama to impose martial law, a curfew and vast restrictions on public assembly and speech.

I think we are relatively safe from anything “giving” unless they actually DO anything. But then, there are a lot of people against this that do not have any belief in a creator holding them back, so you never know.

I doubt it, unless he is really, REALLY stupid. It would empower all those “reasonable” people that have been stocking up on guns and ammo. It would be the trigger they have been preparing for.
I said in a previous post that I think it would take the government actually DOING something for this to reach a violent critical mass. If they did what you suggest, it would be all out civil war.
This has happened because we peons for years have ignored their cashing in as lobbyists as soon as they are out of office, their junkets around the world paid for by us peons. Not a peep, just a whimper and and a grumble when we pay our taxes. Like frogs simmering in a pot of water, they have finally reached the boiling point. Now they are jumping out of that pot in record numbers, simply to save themselves and their country from these charlatans.
