I doubt it, unless he is really, REALLY stupid. It would empower all those “reasonable” people that have been stocking up on guns and ammo. It would be the trigger they have been preparing for.

I said in a previous post that I think it would take the government actually DOING something for this to reach a violent critical mass. If they did what you suggest, it would be all out civil war.
