If you were a desk clerk in a Midwestern Motel, and someone called you up, and told you to pull the fire alarm, break out the windows, knock off some fire sprinkler heads, then go shut off the main power to the Motel, what would be the odds of you doing as he asked? An even better question is, once you did all this, who should be guilty? You or the Caller? I will lay you odds, that the majority of Liberals will say that the guy who called is guilty, and that the clerk was just a victim of the caller, while conservatives, will say who ever did the damage is guilty.
Is there a punch line to this joke...?
Did you read the whole story by clicking on “The Smoking Gun” link?
Do I want to give their website a hit?
Only if you want to know what the story is.
No thanks...
An even better question?
No, it isn't.
And why do you have to politicize something like this?
Whoever's legally guilty of the damage, the hotel clerk didn't act out of malice.
You are absolutely right. I have re-read what I wrote, and it is not what I should have written. I was out of line, and made light of a woman who was trying to do the best thing. And for that, I am sorry. As far as politicizing it? I have no idea why I even went there. I interjected an aspect into the story that I didnt need to.
Thanks for the rebuke.
Small consolation to those paying for the damages. Apparently the clerk didn't see the sign.........
I heard OJ Simpson is likely to move there, since all the DNA is the same across the state.
Don't make me post a blonde joke. I'm warning you.
