Today marks a great victory for "the people of life and for life."
Gallup issued the following article on their recent polling:
Additionally, a recent national survey by the Pew Research Center recorded an eight percentage-point decline since last August in those saying abortion should be legal in all or most cases, from 54% to 46%. The percentage saying abortion should be legal in only a few or no cases increased from 41% to 44% over the same period.
A sharp decline since last August? Hmmm, what happened last August?
Oh, yes. Hurricane Sarah happened. And she introduced the nation to her beautiful and perfect son Trig.
Nothing is an accident.
She said in her Evansville speech:

Poll: Majority of Americans Are Pro-Life for the First Time
Fifty-one percent of Americans consider themselves “pro-life” and just 42 percent say they are “pro-choice,” the first time a majority of the country has stated a personal objection to abortion since Gallup polls began tracking the data 15 years ago.

They might become more conservative altogether.
Quick!
Let’s demonize her!/
Perhaps it’s because a lot of young adults are coming to grips with the fact that it was very possible when they were in the womb that their mothers could have very well aborted them.
I have had a few of those moments and it makes me all the more grateful my mother didn’t abort me. I wouldn’t be on this great planet and great country.
“Lets demonize her!/”
It’s impossible to. When Bristol got pregnant everyone rallied around her and several readers canceled subscriptions when US magazine ran that filthy cover of Sarah holding Trig and then of course the evangelicals.
She’s gonna be a huge force in ‘12 and it’s gonna be great.
Sarah Palin is going to be the next President of the United States of America.
Sarah Palin brought sunny optimism to the Pro-Life side like Reagan brought sunny optimism to fiscal conservatism and national defense.
I think Sarah Palin will be our next President, and we won’t have to wait seven years for it...
Many are also coming to grips with the fact that 50 million of their cohort were killed by baby boomers and that the illegal-alien/social-spending crisis is a direct result of this.
Of course, I help them reach this conclusion whenever possible.
“Shes gonna be a huge force in 12 and its gonna be great.”
Then she better start leading in 09. There are many issues that a true future leader of the GOP should be vocal about, not waiting for campaign opportunites but leading right now!
Wow. Fantastic. Evil can not and will not ever overtake good. God has already overcome the world and the world we all know is in the hands of the prince of darkness. Light. God. Today. :-). Glad we don’t give up. Our hard work and God’s intervention always pays off.
America saw the love of the Palin family for Trigg and realized that every life is precious.
To behold Piper holding baby Trigg in her arms at the convention was to see God’s blessings.
Nope. I hope Zero is impeached (and most likely will be if senators don’t want the citizenry burning/looting their homes) and Biden can simply do as the House tells him instead of the other way around.
there really might be something to this.
Dropping a rock into a pond always creates ripples. The bigger the rock the bigger the wave. You just got to be patient and wait for it.
You Palin cultists need to buy a clue. Now you believe that she "magically" converted America?
A winning streak that quickly ends, after Obama speaks at Notre Dame.
Respectfully, she isn’t why.
Respectfully, she isnt why.
I figure there are probably several factors, but I’d say she plays a part in the shift. My wife always voted democrat and was pro-choice, I voted republican, and abortion wasn’t an issue I really cared much about one way or the other. In Nov my wife voted republican for the very first time, and now considers herself a pro-life republican, all because of Palin, I now also consider myself pro-life for the same reason. I know several other people whose households were significantly changed by her inclusion on the ticket.
What “plurality”?
I will look forward to that!
