My very small two cents: Start a third party that is based on pure conservatism (easier said than done I know) with Palin as one of the leaders. Walk the walk and if people don’t like it they don’t have to vote for it. Stand on principle, the hell with pandering. Powell, Meghan McCain etc, just have the GOP goodbye.

You’re basically advocating splitting the GOP.
That’s fine, except politics is pandering. The idea isn’t to act as a resource for principled citizens, but to get more votes than the other guy.
