For his latest book about Democrats ruling Washington for the next 40 years, consultant James Carville laid his thesis out to Republicans. "They said, 'Yeah, it's horrible,' " he says.
In 40 More Years, How the Democrats Will Rule the Next Generation, he presents the facts about the last two elections in his "ragin' Cajun" style.
The GOP lost the youth and Hispanic vote and is credibility-starved. Then he kicks the party's faves: Sarah Palin, the 2008 veep nominee, for once running an Alaskan city hall that "looks just like a Louisiana bait shop," and Fox's Bill O'Reilly as stupid, bigoted, and "remarkably nasty, even for a far-right nut job."
Hillary Clinton, whom he championed in the 2008 primaries, gets it for voting for the Iraq war and running a messy campaign. Still, Carville says, Clinton would have made a good president. "The kind of campaign you run doesn't have much to do with the type of president you'd be."
He’s as smart as he is handsome.

He’s right.
The right isn’t fighting so the left will spend us into compliance and “no choice” obediance to their hard-left agenda. The debt will be so big that the option of freedom will be forever off the table—and just you try to end universal health care.
I say forever because the Americans that were willing to actually fight for freedom have died, or are dying-off with the WWII generation. What’s left are assorted wimps and nice-guys who claim that resistance is for lesser people. My question to them is who is lesser that a slave? Only a deadman.
But nothing I can say will help those who can’t see past the nose on their face. I have a harder time convincing conservatives that something is very, very wrong and the end of this country is near—they just go on imagining that things will be changed in two, or four years. As if what happens to the fundamentals will have no effect going forward.
Today’s American can’t seem to acknowledge that their country is really being stolen right in front of their eyes. They must walk out their front doors, look around and determine that everything appears normal, therefore it must be normal. They must believe that and in two, or four years we will vote in our “hero” who will take us back to a free American again. Won’t they be surprised.
Just remember, while you’re luxuriating in your confidence that things will correct themselves they are sneaking out the backdoor with your paycheck and your family’s freedom.
If the power mongers achieve their agenda you could elect Reagan again and it wouldn’t matter—it’s done, finished, written in stone. America is dead, dead, dead.
The great experiement is over and self-government is gone forever.
The final dagger in America’s heart will be the passage of universal healthcare.
After that, it’s just a matter of time before everything else falls towards opression.
The left isn’t ingenious—they only have to destroy and steal. It’s not even their fault—they are winning because today’s American is a passive sloth, detached from nature, detached from God and spoiled rotten after enjoying the luxury of freedom for so long. They are the perfect target for the power mongers—fat, dumb and happy.
Goodbye America.
Over two hundred years of freedom ain’t bad for our current state of evolution, I suppose.
I just wish I, and my children, had been born earlier—this is excruciating to witness.
