Here’s what doesn’t make any sense: she can’t run for Governor again (proving that there is a God). If she isn’t confirmed and she stays in Kansas, she’ll run for Senator...against Rep Todd Tiahrt. He has absolutely no fear of her and is very public about his opposition to her nomination. Why Roberts and Brownback are so anxious to prove their devotion to her is stupid, disgusting and disgraceful.
Brownback is an idiot. He is an unprincipled, self-absorbed politician who will do anything to further his own political career. He will say and do whatever he thinks necessary to ensure his election. Do not trust him for a minute.
I’m going to keep appearing on this site to remind you all that Representative Todd Tiahrt is the only Kansas politician who doesn’t fall at Sebelius’ feet. Please remember this when he runs for Senate next year. The Sebelius goons will be all over him.

Brownback hasn’t always been Sebelius’ stooge. She badgered Clinton into nominating her husband for a federal judgeship. Her husband, shall we say, was not up to the task. Brownback blocked the nomination and caught weeks of hell from Sebelius and her people and from the Clintons’ people. It became very threatening and nasty. Brownback wouldn’t budge and the nomination was pulled - saving us from at least one of Clinton’s vile appointments. Sebelius (both of them) absolutely hate Brownback.
Why Brownback is going out of his way to cave now when he doesn’t owe her anything, I just don’t get it.
Before that, he was a stooge for Elrod, Nichols...same herd of misogamist (marriage-hating) divorce industry hags and lawyers.

Sam ran one of the silliest campaigns ever, but I never really expected him to betray pro-life. He is truly the KS Judas, and we know KS has a long-line of liberal Republicans.
Like GWB, Brownback wants to hear a liberal Democrat say something nice about him, and they rarely do.
