What do the Tea Parties Hope to Accomplish
The Provocateur ^ | 02/28/2009 | Michael Volpe`

In response to a Hot Air story, a reader asked this cynical question.

In reality, though. These tea parties are pointless. They have no direction. What do they want to accomplish with them?”

That is a cynical question but it is a fair one. The Tea Party movement in many ways is no different than any budding grassroots movement. It's goals are to mobilize, to demand change, and then with mobilizing power to demand politicians that live up to the ideal of these ideas.

The tea parties are in their infancy, They will grow as more Americans become fed up with going broke paying taxes, running out of fuel and paying for Green projects that just wont work. When Rationed health care takes over and people start dying because the government finds them unworthy of living the game ill be on full tilt and these tea parties by then will have the bit in their mouths.

I don’t know but I would recommend a massive and continuous viral YouTube campaign that documents Obama Marxism. There is plenty of material out there and it needs to be brought to the attention of the very short attention span American public.

And what was ACORN, if not a grass roots movement?

Lead
Follow
or
Get out of the WAY!

The grass roots tend to die out, after your party has been in the White House for 8 years.

This is the way to get the White House, and Congress, BACK!

Organize, rally, network, take notes, get publicity.

In his speech today, Rush, at CPAC, made ref to the fact that as people become more and more frustrated at the idea and in fact paying someone Else mortgages that this kind of groundswell will gain momentum.

We discussed this point at the Hartford, CT Tea party protest. We all concurred the initial tea parties are more of a learning process for many but people will become more organized with each succeeding rally. Eventually it will get to the point where large numbers of people are very organized and then the movement will be overwhelming for socialists.

Create 21st Century "Committees of Correspondence"

That is, if we really are even serious about taking our country back again.

The man hates a self-reliant middle class above all. Like all true Marxists, he foresees an Amerika of two classes. An upperclass of Mercedes Marxists, and an urban proletariet living in Soviet-style apartment complexes being herded into high-speed graffiti tagged trains heading to labor in nearby "green-zone" rice paddies.

He and his pal Bill Ayers will dine on cavier and steak, while the "prols" will enjoy rice balls and an occasional fish head.

Yes! AWARENESS that there are citizens who do care for this country and that those who do care are not alone!

Bumper stickers, some using humor, but all hinting at impending tax revolt, would be a good grassroots start. You will start to get horn honks when driving around, and smiles, and thumbs' up, and people thinking the same thing, a bit afraid of Big Government, but emboldened and encouraged to see other fellow Americans in traffic with them, thinking the exact same thing.

This is how counter revolution is started, by showing people they are not alone. It starts very slow, very subtle. America is RIPE for it, what with what this fool Obama is doing against the producers and the salt of the earth types of this country. I see backlash. Big time. And I see it starting with bumper stickers and hushed conversations over the water cooler and at family reunions. No "Fairness Doctrine" can stop it once it starts. The country is also armed to the teeth. It is time to begin laying the groundwork and not a day too soon.

You’ve all been warned now. Hopefully, everyone signs up for the Facebook group, gets on email lists and finds out about the next party in their area. Talk about it with your friends, and if you are so enterprising, you can even organize an event yourself.

there is a role for EVERYONE. even those of us far away, in the military or missionary work or civilians overseas, although not there, can help finance it as well. there is a role for EVERYONE. we must out-accorn these saps, and I mean starting NOW before Obama solidifies any more fascistic powers.

People have been pushed to far. The politicians we’ve elected don’t listen to us. Time to push back!

Brake out from the Saul Alensky (spelling ?) imposed isolation of conservatives. The most important first step is to realize that we are not alone Tens of millions think as we do. The movement is the thawing of the freeze.

And meanwhile all the children of the proles will be going to government indoctrination centers ("schools") where they are taught to believe the lie that each of them is going to grow up to join the Mercedes Marxists, while in reality each has about the same chance of that as winning a lottery.

Though, as indoctrination center graduates, they'll all be too math illiterate to understand that.

What always gets attention is when the funds quit flowing to the pigs at the Porkulus trough. We must put our heads together and see how every household can reduce the feds tax take by at least 15%, by reducing hours worked, barter or some other strategy. If every taxpaying entity in the U.S. did that, it would make the porkers in D.C. start to squeal and jump off BO’s runaway train.

Tossing tea into the Boston harbor probably seems pretty pointless at the time, as well. But as Dave Edmunds used to say, “From small things, baby, big things someday come.”

This is the way to get the White House, and Congress, BACK!

Get it back? Get it back for who, the same old crooks that were in power before and been waiting in the wings for the last 8 years?

What is being done is rotating their place at the public trough between two political crime syndicates.

Destroy the two party system and drive 535 congress critters from office and then start thinking of having something worth taking back!

Actually it was illegal. Dumping tea into the harbor took funds from the British Crown. That got attention.

A true Tea Party would involve dumping something taxable to get the government's attention.

I'm not necessarily advocating that, but these are not true Tea Partys yet.
