There is definitely a theme here. It’ll be as obvious to you as whiskey on the breath of a Kennedy almost immediately.

What do the following headlines all have in common?

-THIS CLIMATE OF OURS; WHY THESE OPEN WINTERS AND TEMPERATE SUMMERS?

-WARMING ARCTIC CLIMATE MELTING GLACIERS FASTER, RAISING OCEAN LEVEL, SCIENTIST SAYS

-IS CLIMATE CHANGING?; HABITS OF MAMMALS AND BIRDS SUGGEST WORLD IS WARMER

-GREENLAND'S MODERATING CLIMATE TURNS HUNTERS INTO FISHERMAN; ECONOMY ONCE BASED ON SEA MAMMALS NOW DEPENDS ON COD SOLD FOR CASH

We have friends who went on a Disney cruise last week and are now at Disney World. I’ve been wondering how they’re coping with the cold.

It was in the 20s inland today, maybe teens in Orlando. It’s been cold for a few days, expect same through Saturday. Wind is blowing 20-25 mph.

Teens, yikes!!
What is that doing to the orange growers?

Seems I recall a reference to the “orange line”, a hypothetical line limiting the most northern latitude where oranges are grown. The story went that Mark Twain, in “Life on the Mississippi” mentioned orange groves in Natchez. If true, it would mean the orange line is moving south.
Wonder where the orange line is these days?

Won’t know about the crops for a few days what the damage is. There is going to be plenty.

What no one is paying any attention to is as the Earth’s climate goes cold, growing seasons shorten and crops fail. Food gets in short supply. Cold is much worse than hot.

Every era of humankinds' advances has occurred during it's warm periods.

Every one! No exceptions.

This is one of the inconvenient truths that the Global Warming "Scare 'em" crowd won't share with you.

All they really care about is taking your money and lording over you - in perpetuity. This is another inconvenient truism they don't want to mention.

They don't want you to mention it, either!

The next ice age is inevitable, the Holocene Interglacail won't last much longer. What then? Everyone will be fighting over food and warm. It is doubtful that Earth can produce enough food to have the population we now have. There just isn't enough farm land.

“Cold is much worse than hot.”

I agree and in fact I respond to the hoax believers with a simple question. Do more people survive in the sahara desert or in antarctica? Warming is better than cooling for sure. It generally brings a very confused look with much stuttering.

Wonder where the orange line is these days?

The current Florida Orange growing area runs from Tampa Bay to south of Melbourne down to Miami and north of the Everglades to the Venice area. Almost all of this area hit freezing last night but not a lengthy hard freeze that would kill the trees.

When I moved to this area in the late 70s, the Orange belt was significantly larger and extended up to a line roughly from Ocala to St.Augustine and there were some groves up to the I-10 corridor. A series of 4 Freeze events (1981/82/83/85) killed 40% of all Florida Citrus Trees and almost 100% of those north of the current line.

I can remember trips north with miles upon miles of dead groves. The farmers had no money to clear them and they had nothing to replace them. Yet this too was a time of 'Global Warming' according to the 'Accepted Scientific Consensus'! And now we have Obama's new Energy Secretary, Steven Chu, is saying that California could lose all of its agriculture to 'Global Warming', the bleating of a 'True Believer'!

You want confused, ask them what the CO2 in the atmosphere is good for ... The people I have posed the question to, rabid global warmists, hadn't a clue what photosynthesis or cellar respiration was all about.

Didn't understand carbon life forms. the funniest answer was aliens on Star Trek.
