Illegal aliens residing in Illinois hard hit by economic downturn - M3 Report
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FORMER BORDER PATROL OFFICERS ^ | Dec. 26, 2008 | NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FORMER BORDER PATROL OFFICERS

El Financiero (Mexico City) 12/23/08

- The economic crisis in Illinois has delivered Hispanics residing in the state a hard blow. More than 220,000 of them are encountering problems, even including meeting daily food needs. The Hispanics, especially those who are undocumented — employed in manufacturing and construction industries — are the ones mainly affected by unemployment. During the past year, the number of Hispanics requesting social services has increased, many of them seeking help for the first time.

——————– El Universal (Mexico City) 12/23/08

- Laura Elena Zuñiga Huizar, 23 (Photos below relate), winner of this year’s beauty contest in the state of Sinaloa as well as the Hispano-American contest in Bolivia last November, was arrested along with seven men for possession of firearms. Mexican Army troops arrested the group in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and confiscated two AR15 assault rifles, three pistols, ammo clips, more than 600 rounds of ammo, 16 cell phones and around $18,000 US. According to police, the beauty queen said they were planning a shopping trip to Bolivia and Colombia.

———- - Based on a Washington Times article, El Universal reports that Barak Obama will have to confront the drug cartels in his own country while Mexico will remain the frontline in the drug war. Reports indicate that several Mexican cartels have installed communication centers close to the US border “to coordinate smuggling operations.” They also note that the US Department of Justice has issued a report that the cartels supply drugs to at least 230 cities in the US and are considered the major organized crime threat to the country. ——– - The three most violent states, Chihuahua, Sinaloa and Baja California reported 33 murders between last Sunday evening and Monday afternoon. Most were victims of fighting between drug gangs, although the count also included an active police officer, a woman and a five-year-old girl. ——————–

El Porvenir (Monterrey, Nuevo Leon) 12/23/08 With the endorsement of all political parties, Mexico’s Federal Electoral Institute (IFE) approved a project for electoral shielding to guarantee conditions of security, legality and transparency in the election processes of 2009. With the accord, the political parties are committed to assuring that all their candidates conform to an honorable and transparent course in their professional and personal affairs without ties to illicit activities.

The National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers (NAFBPO)

There must be an organization for every possible group of people.

Not even a lack of work will make these people go home, as long as we're willing to pay for their 'social services'.

BTW weren't we running a rather significant deficit?

Not to worry Aunt Esther is the new First Lady and she will make this "mean country" do the right thing. . . .

(Gee.. I didn't mean to insult Aunt Esther by comparing Mrs. Obama to her.. in all the episodes of Sanford and Son not once was she anything but a proud American. She gave Fred a hard time but the Country was just fine.)

Watch for the crime rate to soar.....hold-ups, store burglaries, home invasions, shoplifting, purse-snatching, car theft, etc. as the illegals run out of money.

Not all of them will go to their friendly government welfare windows every week for a measly few pesos to live on.

A mall, for instance, both inside and out, offers quicker and more substantial pickings.

Read the police blotter in your local rag....it's already started.
