In 2004, a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll taken Nov. 19-21, only 31% favored an amendment to change the “Natural Born Citizen” requirement — 67% OPPOSED it. Opposition dropped slightly, to 58%, when superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger’s name was included in the question.
***But if the same poll were taken today, what would be the change? aRINOld is more popular with democrats now than he ever was, and more people are aware of this clause & how it would affect the current president elect. I would think that the numbers would be reversed, with 2/3 for it and 1/3 opposing it. That’s what happens when you become a nation of sheeple.
Not in a million years. That would have been political suicide for Hillary or McCain to have brought it up no matter what proof they had in hand.
Arnold knows what's going on too and he is expecting his chance to come. If every "right-winger" dropped their lawsuits to stop 0bama then Team Zer0 would covertly file one. The Dems intend to use 0bama's circumstances to do away with the natural born requirement. It won't hit the MSM until after he is sworn in.

We have always been a country of immigrants. You would have found people 200 years ago that would be have been for removing the NBC clause. However, Constitutional Amendments ending the requirement of “Natural Born Citizen” have been introduced in Congress subcommittee 26 times since the 1870s, only to have died in subcommittee — EVERYTIME.
Excluding the Senate Resolution 511 introduced by Leahy in April 2008, the last true Amendment was attempted in 2000, introduced by non-other-than Barney Frank (H.J.Res. 88):

Requiring 2/3 of both houses and 3/4 of all states, I think it's rather amazing that any Constitutional amendments have ever been passed.
