My interview ("le blog drzz", a French conservative website) of Ishmael Jones, former CIA operative in the National Clandestine Service (1987-2005).

"I’m concerned that the Democrats view the CIA as a political ally and are not aware of the danger we face from poor intelligence. The CIA provided Democrats with plentiful anti-Bush information during the Bush years, and nearly cut down President Bush with the Plame incident and the Iraq WMD controversies."

READ THE EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW (see link).

Ishmael Jones (pseudonym) is a former member of the Central Intelligence Agency. He joined the agency in the 1980s, where he served as a case officer focusing on human sources with access to intelligence on terrorism and weapons of mass destruction. His assignments included more than fifteen years of continuous overseas service in numerous exotic countries and several rogue nations. He resigned from the CIA in good standing. He is the author of the new book, The Human Factor: Inside the CIA's Dysfunctional Intelligence Culture (Encounter Books, July 2008). It is the first book written by a deep cover CIA case officer. All author book profits are donated to veterans’ groups

The story being pushed by Democrats is that the Iraqi generals who testified that THEY thought there were weapons of mass destruction had been paid off by the CIA.

Does the CIA have viable factions, or are we to believe the same folks that attempted to derail Bush by creating and planting the Plame story are also covering Bush by paying off generals?

The CIA provided Democrats with plentiful anti-Bush information during the Bush years, and nearly cut down President Bush with the Plame incident and the Iraq WMD controversies."

The whole Niger/Plame/Wilson episode was a coup attempt.

And as for the Iraq WMD controversy, CIA first assured us that they were there, and then when they weren't, acted as if they were on the side of the angels.

And who was it that, every time we found nerve agent at an Iraqi Army ammo dump, would giddily announce a day or two later that, no, it was just agricultural pesiticide. And when our troops found the chemical plant that produced nerve agent, whose plant manager was an army general, and which was guarded by Iraqi infantry, who was it that two days later made sure to announce again that, no, come to find out, it was just agricultural pesticide too.

In other words, we found WMD, and WMD production facilities, and "someone" kept defining it out of existence. We found what we went looking for, and its been re-defined right down the memory hole.

IIRC, the CIA's precursor (OSS) included more than a few operatives who were the pink (if not red) scions of elite families, so maybe things haven't changed much.

Did you see that this operative implies that Obama used the CIA to fill him with anti-bush and anti-mccain ammunition ?

I don't doubt for a minute that Obama's controllers were fed information by the CIA, as it appears to be nothing more or less than the intelligence/security component of a political party.

I'm just not so sure it is an American political party.
