Vanity...can someone help me who knows how to use photoshop or something like it?

Posted on 11/24/2008 6:36:12 AM PST by republicanbred

I have two pictures that I need made into one for a scrapbook I am putting together for my daughter for her 16th birthday next week. If someone could help me I would attach them to an email and send them to you if you could fix them. I am sure it is fairly simple, and so many of you are wizards...I would really appreciate it. I can do alot with a computer but this I cannot figure out!

What do you mean “made into one”. Do you want images overlaid or just stitched together?

Which version? I have X2. It's awesome. It even reads my Nikon RAW files.

I sent you a private email. You can forward your photos and request to me at the address I provided.

It’s very sweet that you want to do a scrapbook for your daughter. I’ve done several for my daughters, mother, grandchildren, etc. I love using PhotoShop.

With Gimp2 you can do this easily (I’m assuming you want to add the second picture adjacent to the first, and both are digitally scanned).

If you need more help let me know. Gimp2 is free for the download and a powerful image editor.

Hardly.
I went to a Photoshop training seminar a couple years ago. Cost: $99. Attendance at the seminar: 7,500.

There are many tutorials online.

Yes, X2! I love that program. It can do SO MUCH!

Especially with the artsy fartsy type things people want in wedding photographs. And people like my pictures because a “good” photographer makes them look good. And what doesn’t look good in the shot, looks good after shedding 10 lbs and a few wrinkles out, haha!

Had one mother of the bride tell me that she didn’t realize how beautiful she looked that day! Poor thing didn’t know she lost a chin. Or two when I got done. She did look nice though.
