A Plaintiff with “Standing” Sues Obama November 14, 2008 by texasdarlin These plaintiffs should have standing. Alan Keyes, Presidential candidate of the American Independent Party, Wiley S. Drake, V.P. candidate of the Independent Party and California elector, and Markham Robinson, California elector, filed suit in California on Nov. 12, 2008 against Barack Hussein Obama and others. The Plaintiffs are seeking a Court Order barring the California Secretary of State from certifying the California electors until documentary proof that Senator Obama is a “natural born” citizen is received by the Secretary. Their complaint states in part: There is a reasonable and common expectation by the voters that to qualify for the ballot, the individuals running for office must meet minimum qualifications…., and that compliance with those qualifications has been confirmed by the officials overseeing the election process. Heretofore, only a signed statement from the candidate….was requested and received by SOS, with no verification demanded.This practice represents a much lower standard than that demanded of one when requesting a California driver’s license… Plaintiffs go on to argue: …If he was born in Hawaii, there are four other obstacles to Senator Obama’s eligibility…. They apparently first contacted the California Secretary of State about their concerns on October 25. Read the rest of the complaint HERE. It’s well-written and concise. I am unable to cut and paste from the complaint, and my injury prevents further re-typing of it. But it looks to me like the most legitimate claim yet. What do you think?

I think it was Keyes’s VP running mate who filed a lawsuit earlier. He is probably just joining in on that one. But it should have “standing”.

The complaint is very interesting particularly this reference
“Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 allows registration of birth in Hawaii for a child that was born outside of
Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the child’s birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence.”
That would seem to mean that one could have a validly registered Hawaii birth certificate without being born there.
That could vbe ver important.
If he were really born in Hawaii, there should be no questions about his eligibility. Hawaii is a state, and he would be a natural born citizen, unless of course, he gave it up to become an Indonesian or Kenyan citizen.

I wonder if a class-action law suit on behalf of all the legitimate “natural born” citizens is do-able ... why not?
If nothing else, it would be nice to see Hussein properly vetted after all...though of course I’d gladly endure widespread violence in order to see him utterly disqualified. He is clearly not loyal first to the U.S.; his loyalties are mainly elsewhere, and so many of his collaborations over the years have been with clearly anti-American characters, groups, and countries.
The aspect of recognized bona-fide standing in this case is encouraging.
Judge Kinny is getting the case and he was appointed by Gray Davis.
I don’t know if that bodes well or not.

Has anyone but me heard about the fraudulent selective service form that just turned up on Obama, supposedly signed by him in 1980 but a bad forgery?

I’m very much of a skeptic that Obama will be found to not be a natural born citizen, but having read the Keyes complaint, I think it does bring up a lot of very interesting questions as well as supplying information on the details of Hawaiian birth certificates that I have not seen elsewhere.
I think he was born in a mud hut in Kenya. I also think the powers that be don’t give a damn and will allow him to be POTUS anyway.
We are the powers that be.
