Transition advisers to President-elect Barack Obama have compiled a list of about 200 Bush administration actions and executive orders that could be swiftly undone to reverse White House policies on climate change, stem cell research, reproductive rights and other issues, according to congressional Democrats, campaign aides and experts working with the transition team.But, the Washington Post and Democratic operatives do not see that increasing the number of abortions is a partisan agenda.
A team of four dozen advisers, working for months in virtual solitude, set out to identify regulatory and policy changes Obama could implement soon after his inauguration. The team is now consulting with liberal advocacy groups, Capitol Hill staffers and potential agency chiefs to prioritize those they regard as the most onerous or ideologically offensive, said a top transition official who was not permitted to speak on the record about the inner workings of the transition.
In some instances, Obama would be quickly delivering on promises he made during his two-year campaign, while in others he would be embracing Clinton-era policies upended by President Bush during his eight years in office.
"The kind of regulations they are looking at" are those imposed by Bush for "overtly political" reasons, in pursuit of what Democrats say was a partisan Republican agenda...
Obama himself has signaled, for example, that he intends to reverse Bush’s controversial limit on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research...
The new president is also expected to lift a so-called global gag rule barring international family planning groups that receive U.S. aid from counseling women about the availability of abortion.

We told them so. But no, they didn’t want to hear the truth. A nice elegant young man like Obama couldn’t be pro abortion. How many millions of pro life people voted for him?? Shame on them. Now they will learn the truth. As will the gun owners, people who thought they would have more freedom, young people who will be pressured or forced to serve when they don’t want to, and people who find their taxes going up.

They can abort themselves. Have you ever seen a species so enthusiastic about aborting themselves? I know some species such as lions will kill young cubs so the mom will be ready to breed again.
In my daughter's Catholic school class, the majority of parents voted for Obama. My 11 year old went to school for months telling her friends Hussein was pro-abortion, and they told her he wasn't. I will be curious as to how these parents justify their vote when this happens.

It would be far more serious were they trying to kill our babies before they were born. We cannot force our values on this wayward country. We should teach these values to our own children so that they do not fall astray and kill their own children. Over time, we should outreproduce the enemy.

There is a neighbor about 1/2 a mile away who has a “Jesus is the reason for the season” and cross up for Christmas. They had an Obama sign up this year. I would like to go tell them around Christmas that they are phonies.

I posted the other day that I approached a large intersection the other day where four black women were collecting money for their church. I wasn’t close enough to say anything but had already decided if I got to the corner with a red light, I was going to lower the window and say I was sorry but I couldn’t donate to any church who supported abortion. Sadly, the light changed and there was too much traffic to stop and tell the woman how I felt.
