Historians refer to a special kind of revolution where a totalitarian regime is democratically installed: it is called a "Coup de Prague".
So why is the country not up in arms about this blatant political coup?
I feel like I’m in a waking nightmare.
This is a nightmare for 56 million, and depending on what the agenda proves to be, that number will likely grow. What was have is an ideological marxist in place. There is no denial of that - he wants to steal ‘excess’ profits, increase government controls, add numerous government services, and have one group pay for the other through higher taxes, FICA, and increasing cost of goods. Economic justice is not anything but marxism.
“Czechoslovakia, 1948: in a general election, the Communists are elected and quietly, overnight, the old Republic is dismantled”
Then perhaps we will see if our form of government, and the people responsible for it’s administration, will fare any better.
Voter fraud (thought to have determined the outcome of the 1960 election) has gone unchecked and now (it seems) is out of control. Information (filtered through the media) has also progressed from misinformation to blatant propaganda, it also has gone unchecked. If these two things had been addressed we may not be facing, as some think, such a dire possibility.
I think it’s too early to get upset. The election is over, he will be our president. Attacking him now only looks like sour grapes. Anyway, voters have heard it all (Ayers, Wright, birth certificate, etc) and they voted for him anyway.
It’s time to keep our powder dry. Wait and see what he and the libs in congress cook up and then unleash the criticism.
Attacking what he does will be much more effective.

Yes.
Let’s “wait and see”.
I have to go boil a frog, now.
[not slamming you personally...just the general idea of “let’s give him a chance to screw up...or screw us...first”]
“Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.”
~ Mrs. Michelle Obama, First Lady-in-waiting
I hear ya. But other than blog on and gripe about him, there’s not much we can do.
Once they start implementing their social programs we will then have something concrete to attack.
I reckon so.
This pretty well sums it up for me.
This week, a couple of high school kids were discussing the one kid’s Grampa, who has never voted ANYTHING but Democrat and how pissed he was in the line at the voting site at having to vote Republican.
FWIW, no way did Obama win an election. This was a coup.
I think boiled frog is going to be a popular meal sooner than later.
Use of the internet for organizing and fundraising. Howard Dean got the last laugh.
Control of the media.
Locking in key dem/lib players very early on that froze out the Clinton's and their threat of crossovers.
Getting those groups that feel disenfranchised to actually go vote.
Superior event organizing and advertising.
Most of all, crafting the sales pitch and staying on message. Biden was a mistake that they never got tagged with, their themes were so strong.
Lastly, great luck. I have been tracking every major poll in PA for months. Obama was losing until the bail-out. McCain fumbled it badly but still recovered and was beating Obama badly in all the polls but ran out of time and gas.
There was a remarkable complete change of poll direction favoring Obama on the last two days.
McCain really was so close and was tracking to win but the critical last two days of the campaign, he went flat and couldn't close the deal.
Really, this campaign was much less about ideology than it was about management, articulation and missed opportunities.
Again, beliefs are irrelevant if you don't win. McCain never had a campaign staff that assumed they would win and acted accordingly.
The first campaign strategy meeting should have described: "When we beat Obama it will be because of: a, b, c, d, e, f ........"
Instead we have these political autopsies.
And once their in charge the Attorney General will make sure nothing gets investigated. Not that we need to be told there was vast emigrant voter fraud as well as the dead voting etc..
Already is.
Look at 2000 when for *months* the Dems screamed “fraud” and we counted and recounted until half crazy.
In 2008, it’s blatant, publicy acknowledged -real- fraud and all you hear are crickets.
Why are Republicans NOT recounting -every- swing state?
Whay isn’t ACORN on trial?
This almost reeks of collusion between both parties.
I can’t believe the Rs would be this spineless.
“In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.” FDR
ACORN won a big one this time around.
