Conservative White Women Need Not Apply
Right In A Left World ^ | September 13, 2008 | Lew Waters

Posted on 09/13/2008 12:42:33 PM PDT by DakotaRed

Ever since the surprise announcement of Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, as Senator McCain’s choice for his Vice Presidential running mate, we have noticed a meltdown from the left, particularly so-called feminists.

This could not be more evident than in shown in the Chicago Sun Times op-ed by Black female columnist Mary Mitchell’s Palin should be laughingstock to all feminists article published September 13, 2008.

How sexist for this so-called feminist to begin her hit piece with, “ Sarah Palin makes me sick. I hate that she was able to steal Barack Obama's mojo just by showing up wearing rimless glasses and a skirt.

For decades now, a male making such a comment was castigated and scorned for the “insensitivity” displayed towards a woman commenting on wearing a skirt.

Undoubtedly, Mitchell will be lauded by the left in America for her brave insight and courage in making such an assertion.

In her “article,” Mitchell continues the denigration of Palin’s motherhood coupled with being governor as well as having a 17 year-old pregnant daughter. Is this what feminism has degraded to, mocking and ridiculing of an accomplished woman who has succeeded in the supposed “man’s world” and managed to have a family at the same time?

I recall that “Feminism is a discourse that involves various movements, theories, and philosophies which are concerned with the issue of gender difference, advocate equality for women, and campaign for women's rights and interests.

When did these “various movements, theories, and philosophies” come to exclude women who freely chose to be conservative? When did they exclude a woman because she may not only be conservative, but white?

Mitchell tips her hand when she claims, “ Sarah Palin makes me sick because although black Democrats have been responsible for giving white candidates the boost they needed to beat their Republican opponents in tight races, these voters are now being insulted by feminists who say they will cross over into the McCain camp because of her.

Can this outburst be interpreted other than feminists owe it to the Black Democrat to support him, even after he threw over a woman candidate in favor of a long-time Washington insider for his running mate?

Is feminism and the presidency now a matter of Affirmative Action and liberalism over the originally stated goal of “advocating equality for women, and campaigning for women's rights and interests?”

Forgotten, or maybe ignored, by many is that Sarah Palin isn’t the Republican Presidential Candidate, John McCain is. She is the Vice Presidential Candidate, but being compared to the Democrats Presidential Candidate, Barack Hussein Obama, more affectionately known as “B HO.”

By simply googling Sarah Palin one will discover endless articles denigrating this woman, her family and her record by the angry over the top left. Mitchell’s it piece is no different, even to the continuation of false rumors spread about her.

It would be too easy and polite to simply write this off as sloppy journalism. It is obviously a direct assault, another one, on the character of a woman who has lived by the creed of feminism as originally stated and succeeded by her own accords, possibly beyond her wildest imaginations.

Recently, another Black Celebrity confronted Senator McCain over strict interpretation of the United States Constitution. Showing a total lack of intelligence about our government and Constitution, and in an overly melodramatic way, Whoopi Goldberg asked if she should be worried about becoming a slave again due to McCain’s desire to appoint Justice’s to the Supreme Court who would interpret it as written by the Founding Fathers.

Perhaps she should be more concerned with how far back women in general, especially conservative white women, have been pushed back by this totally unhinged prostitution of the feminist movement by the left.

The great thing about this election in general, and Sarah Palin’s selection as VP in particular, is that it has driven the Left into a blind rage. Thus, they have cast off their masks and all can see them for what they truly are — control freaks. “Feminism is no more about lifting up women than “Mainstream Journalism” is about reporting news. It's all about advancing Socialism. Nothing more. I sure hope more women wake up to the way that the Left has manipulated them over these many years. Same for the blacks. College students will forever be useful idiots because they don't know any better. But there is hope for women and blacks.

Conservatives need not apply. Its not just conservative women. Its us they don't like.

The press isn't biased toward the DNC, the press “is” the DNC. They are almost without exception leftist and socialist in their world view. Their colleagues all agree with them. Their bosses agree with them. It doesn't occur to them that they are biased because in their world there isn't another point of view. Does a fish know he's wet? A “journalist” doesn't know he's biased.

The best thing we can do is tune these people out. Don't give them access to your brain. We need to develop our own sources of information and end their monopoly once and for all.

FR has been a Godsend because you can line these stories up side by side and compare them with one another, and see at a glance what one thought to mention and the other preferred to bury. You can compare domestic coverage with foreign sources; its surprising how details the domestic press prefers to hide will out in foreign coverage.

And vice versa.

News organs, news readers and news writers who are unfair should simply be frozen out. Why give access to someone who is going to distort anything you say anyway? Any writer who makes an effort to be fair, he gets access. The others can write their libel without the help of the candidate being libeled.

And they hate us for not rolling over. They hate us for fighting back.

I agree it is conservatives in general they hate. But, the subject of my piece is Sarah Palin in particlar.

She is the current subject of their hate to advance their socialistic goals and B HO is the puppet they feel they can use to do it.

He’s as big a fool as the rest of them.

You have hit the nail squarely on the head. The left hasn't shown this much venom since Ronald Regan. Their reaction betrays their fear. It's us they fear.
When conservatives go to the polls angry, the left suffers.

She is the current subject of their hate

If it wasn't her it'd be you. If it weren't you it'd be me.

Its us they hate.

I'm amused at the way Obama has refitted his campaign to go after Palin when he's actually running against McCain. But he's made the calculation he can't beat McCain so he's throwing everything he's got at Palin. He's going after Todd, and he's going after Bristol. And going after her pastor. And its not going to work.

People like her. He can't win with only the crazy vote, he needs at least a few normal people to vote for him, and the more he trashes her the more he pushes normal people away from him.

Whoopi Goldberg asked if she should be worried about becoming a slave again

She is, in a very real sense, a slave to liberal dogma.

“Whoopi Goldberg asked if she should be worried about becoming a slave again due to McCain’s desire to appoint Justice’s to the Supreme Court who would interpret it as written by the Founding Fathers.”

Whoopi IS, after all is said merely what my mother used to call “a theatre person”. FR people tend to call her a typical Hollyweird nutter.

Whoopi evidently was asleep in class, or passing notes about boys, drugs, whatever, when the history teacher was discussing the Constitutional Convention arguements about slavery.

On the other hand, I never liked her as an actress, either.
