Obama Will Make a Monkey of Us All

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,364281,00.html From FOX News: “LUCKNOW, India — He's a revered Hindu monkey god. And now, he's the chairman of an Indian business school. Hanuman, the popular god known for his strength and valor, has been named official chairman of the recently opened Sardar Bhagat Singh College of Technology and Management in northern India, a school official said Saturday. The position comes with an incense-filled office, a desk and a laptop computer. Four chairs will be placed facing the empty seat reserved for the chairman and all visitors must enter the office barefoot, said Vivek Kangdi, the school's vice chairman. "It is our belief that any job that has the blessings of Lord Hanuman is bound to be a success," said Kangdi. All Hindus know that Hanuman can lift mountains and leap oceans, but ancient texts make no mention of his business acumen. "When we were looking for a chairman for our institution, we scanned many big names in the field of technology and management. Ultimately, we settled for Lord Hanuman, as none was bigger than him," Kangdi said. Hanuman is one of the most popular gods in the crowded pantheon of Hindu deities. His most famous feat, as described in the Hindu epic the Ramayana, was leading a monkey army to fight the demon King Ravana and rescue a kidnapped princess. The Sardar Bhagat Singh College in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous state, awards bachelor's degrees in engineering and management. The school opened last year.”

My Comments:

We the people (when I say “we” I do not mean “me”) have now elected Barack Hussein Obama the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.

He has no record of significant accomplishment other than being elected a United States Senator and having a racist pastor for the last 20 years… but he is for change.

It seems, just like the Hindu God, Hanuman, this fellow has moved mountains and he hasn’t even bothered to touch them.

It takes a great man to lead a great country … and a lesser man to tear it down. Yet, my main complaint against Barack Obama has little to do with his accomplishments, however and more to do with his character. The leaders of the United States of America have come from all walks of life and all educational and social backgrounds. And some probably even had selfish motives.

But in my estimation this guy is more worrisome than any in our history.

Change for the Sake of Change…

In the Old Testament, there was a point at which the people of Israel became desperate for a king. God knew that they were not ready for a King, but they were so persistent He gave them one anyway. That King was Saul. In short, Saul was disobedient to God and brought nothing but trouble to the Jewish people… but they wished for a king to change the status quo, and they had their king.

When people seek “change” for the sake of change there will always be a price to pay. We’re seeking change when what we need is reformation.

One of the primary reasons the Pilgrims and Puritans fled England was to escape religious persecution from the Church of England with a close second of high taxation by King George. We were founded as a Christian nation with the firm stated belief that there is but one God; Jehovah… the God of the Bible. This has been a uniting force for Americans’ for 200 years. Yet we as a country have become increasingly divided under the pretext of Freedom of Religion. We have the choice in this country to believe and practice our faith, but more and more Christianity is being relegated to the back seat in the name of the oft-misinterpreted “separation of church and state”.

In 1776 only a year after he gave his famous “give me Liberty or give me death” speech, Patrick Henry said the following about religious freedom. "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great Nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason alone, people of other faiths have been afforded freedom of worship here."

And Thomas Jefferson who is often touted as being a Deist wrote this on the front of his well-worn Bible, “I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus. I have little doubt that our whole country will soon be rallied to the unity of our Creator ".

I’d like to contrast the above quotes with the following quote by Barack Hussein Obama in his book, ‘The Audacity of Hope’. “In our household the Bible, the Koran, and the Bhagavad Gita sat on the shelf alongside books of Greek and Norse and African mythology. On Easter or Christmas Day my mother might drag me to church, just as she dragged me to the Buddhist temple, the Chinese New Year celebration, the Shinto shrine, and ancient Hawaiian burial sites. In sum, my mother viewed religion through the eyes of the anthropologist; it was a phenomenon to be treated with a suitable respect, but with a suitable detachment as well.”

Barack Obama is a man of faith… in this man we have a melding of faith, as pointed out above, that is unparalleled by any other American leader. Some would say that this kind of well-rounded understanding of the world only builds a strong leader. But the contrary is true.

The founding fathers didn’t become the leaders of this great nation by being duplicitous in their beliefs. With a singleness of vision they forged one of the most prosperous and blessed nations in the history of the world.

Even the form of Christianity Barack Obama has chosen to follow these past two decades is a divisive version called “Black Liberation Theology”.

The National Committee of Black Church Men gave a very pointed definition of Black Liberation theology in 1969 in the midst of the civil-rights movement:

“Black theology is a theology of black liberation. It seeks to plumb the black condition in the light of God’s revelation in Jesus Christ, so that the black community can see that the gospel is commensurate with the achievements of black humanity. Black theology is a theology of ‘blackness.’ It is the affirmation of black humanity that emancipates black people from White racism, thus providing authentic freedom for both White and black people. It affirms the humanity of White people in that it says ‘No’ to the encroachment of White oppression.”

It is imperative we understand one real possibility; if Barack Obama is elected President of the United States we will move several giant steps toward nailing down the lid of the coffin on this once Christian nation. And all of this for the promise of “change”. All of this for a hollow assurance of “hope”.

We are so afraid of offending someone in this country we won’t ask one simple question of the man that wishes to lead the nation, “What changes are you talking about?” Seems most people’s fears lie in the belief that Obama only talks about change but has no real ideas. My fear is that he doesn’t speak about the changes or talks of them in small bites because he fears people would not accept the change he offers.

We have so many worried about the possibility Obama is Muslim, but the real fear is he will divide this nation directly down the center… a nation that is already sorely at odds with itself.

We need men who are willing to lead and unite our people, not divide… heed God’s word, not hope in the nature of man… serve our nation, not sever the bonds of our Christian heritage.

I fear if Barack Obama becomes President Barack Obama he will do as he’s promised and bring about real, sweeping change.

And if I am proven correct, I fear we will no longer recognize this country.

“God, please prove me wrong.”

Yuck it up, monkeyboy. I think you’ll be surprised if this one gets in office.

You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

And, I wonder if you’ll still draw this comparison when the only thing left in your paycheck is immediately to the right of the decimal point?

Gordon?

The only reason Bush is in that graphic is because if I called Obama a chimp by himself, I’d be accused of racism.

Pointing out that the “progressives” have been calling Bush a chimp for eight years vaccinates me against this.

They’re now stuck. I can blandly point out that calling me racist is racist, as calling a Caucasian a chimp isn’t racist and is super-duper A-OK. What makes you think it’s a thought crime if I call Obama a chimp? YOU’RE RACIST!

I apologized to null and void in private for my comment on his posting.
There was a misunderstanding as to his intent, and for that I’m sorry.

We all want the same thing here... a great America. There may be some small disagreement as to the method, but there’s no need killing each other in the attempt to make the country stronger.

I apologize to him and anyone else who took it I was calling him a racist, and I, for cryin’ out loud, am not one either.

That was very gracious!

I wasn’t offended, and it gave me a perfect opportunity to arm my fellows with a way to get in a dig at the BDS suffering Obama worshipers.

Thanks!
