Pollster Predicts GOP Women Will Give Hillary Election Win

Mark Penn, pollster for the Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) presidential campaign, predicted that a quarter of Republican women would defect from the GOP to vote for her in 2008. Penn said his internal polling also shows that 94 percent of women under 35 say they are likely to vote for Hillary in the November 2008 election if she is on the ballot. Clinton would win over women, says Penn, because of the “emotional” appeal of electing the country’s first woman president.

“From an ideological perspective it doesn’t make any sense,” Penn acknowledged. “A vote for Hillary is a vote for a more active government—national healthcare, repeal of the Bush tax cuts, more regulation—something the GOP supposedly opposes. But, I’m a man. I can’t pretend to really understand how a woman’s mind works.”

Penn said the trend indicates that Clinton would be a stronger Democratic presidential candidate in the South than either Al Gore was in 2000 or John Kerry was in 2004. “These men did the best they could,” Penn said. “They adopted feminist-slanted platforms and tried to speak to women’s concerns. But they weren’t women. The majority of voters are women. That will be enough to ensure that Hillary is the one taking the oath in January of 2009.”

OK, if it gets down to that, lets find us a woman to run against her. One with name recognition, great looks and smart. It can’t be Coulter or Rice.

I’m a woman, last time I checked and I would vote for Ron Paul before I would vote for Hillary Clinton. Besides, Hillary isn’t really a woman, just a man in a fancy pantsuit.

Notice all of the “Hillary REALLY CAN win!!” stories over the last week or so??

She’s been polling VERY WEAK, and suddenly we have the “New, Softer” Hillary reimage v.7.65...

First, you’re right.

Second, women’s feelings towards other women often make them less inclined to vote for another woman. Gotta remember in business those who pierce the fabled glass ceiling spend a lot of time making sure the younger, cuter ones don’t take away what they’ve worked so hard for themselves. They’d rather be around men because they can manipulate (or womynipulate for you grammatical feminists) them better than other women.

There is no way Hillary wins just because she’s a woman. Women wnat a strong leader they can trust, someone that is confident and worldly/experienced and can make tough decisions. Someone they believe is more capable than they themselves, in there heart of hearts, are. I just don’t see Hillary fitting the criteria. She does not automatically ‘get the love’ of women just because she’s a woman.

I think it’s just the opposite. Dem women that hate Hillary will be able to stomach Guliani, Fred or Mitt. I think there are many dem women that hate Hillary and see her exactly for what she is.

As a GOP woman, I find that very offensive! I wouldn’t vote for her just based on her sex. Give me Margaret Thatcher, Condoleeza Rice, Laura Ingraham, women with brains.

It would take Hillary running against the devil for me to even consider voting for her and I’d have a hard time deciding which one would be the lesser of two evils.

I just refuse to believe that ALL women are as stupid as the head of NOW and other so-called 'feminist' groups...

These are the same groups that gave Bill Clinton a COMPLETE PASS on a CREDIBLE RAPE ACCUSATION (actually several) because "his politics are good for women"

"Besides, Hillary isn’t really a woman, just a man in a fancy pantsuit. "

I believe the correct term is PIAPS (Pig in a pants suit)
