Howard Stern is the biggest sell-out pimp I have ever seen in my whole life.

He pretends to be a Martyr by leaving public airways to join the Satellite Radio.

Yeah, he only did it for Freedom of Speech.

500 Million dollars that he is getting mean nothing to him.

He keeps beating that drum to suck in morons who think by getting a Satellite Radio and listening to this jerk, they are stading up for First Amendmemt.

What is even more maddenning is that not one talk-show host or interviewer, every calls him on it.

If he was truly fighting for freedom of speech, then he would stay in the system and try to change it. Not sell out for money and then pretend to be a great warrior.

I hate that guy and I wish him all the worst.

I have no problem with this.

Not my cup of tea - I find Stern stupid more than anything else - but this is a subscriber service, and they have every right to program whatever sells.

I'm a fan of Howard. I stopped listening when he was on his ignorant anti-Bush kick, but after the Kerry camp gave him the stiff arm he realized the maybe Bush wasn't the only one to rant against.

I'm not sure if I will get Sirius radio. I might do a trial on my CPU, but I doubt I will replace my terrestrial radio in the car.

Chicago sighting...

On January 9, the gloves are coming off.. and maybe some tops...

Philadelphia sightings...

"Let Freedom ring and let it be rung by a stripper..."

"Howard is coming all over America."

That seems to be as much variety in the slogans as there is right now...

Certain people can simply say, good morning and it sounds filthy. Stern is in this category. I can't wait for him to fall on his ass.

What still shocks me is that Sirius is dumb enough to let FNC Radio go....I just can't fathom why they would even consider letting XM get sole ownership. It makes no sense.

Unreal.

We are thinking about getting XM. Fox News is the major reason we chose them. They also carry the PGA TOUR. I can't imagine that it is a very popular channel, but our son plays on TOUR and we would really enjoy this option.

Question: What with Stern's huge salary and the enourmous startup cost (reported to be $9 BILLION on Fox News last night) can they make a go of it with 3 million listeners? Also, how many subscribers does XM have?
