DUmmie FUnnies 11-11-04 ("RFK, JR. possibility for ticket in '08?")
Various DUmmies and Assorted MOrons | November 11, 2004 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 11/11/2004 1:45:37 PM PST by PJ-Comix

My DUmmie Ant Farm has been very energetic lately. They have been digging themselves vigorously into all sorts of holes over the Black Box Voting in Ohio fantasy. Although it was funny at first, their obsession with this has finally become boring. It’s like observing Captain Queeg. Initially Queeg was funny in his obsession about the strawberry ice cream locker but it you had to watch him describing the locker in detail including every little lump of ice cream and chunk of strawberry it would become boring very quickly. Fortunately with a little surveying I did find this great little nugget on this THREAD where the DUmmies propose RFK, Jr. as a presidential candidate for 2008. And as an EXTRA bonus, I also present another DUmmie FUnnie below in the form of this cartoon about the DUmmies from the Chicago Sun Times drawn by Jack Higgins:

RFK, JR. possibility for ticket in '08?

[He will be available as soon as he removes that dirty heroin needle from his arm.]

Not the typical politician, but then Ike and Wilkie weren't and maybe that is something America would respond to? Great name. Invokes his father. Strong environmentalist. Interesting.

[Ike and Wilkie shared needles with RFK, Jr.?]

very good man...Unfortunatly as shallow as we have become his voice would do him in.

[Unfortunately the heroin ate away at his brain neurons controlling his vocal chord functions.]

But isn't that a recent thing? Possibly a temp. thing?

[Yeah, just what we need. A president whose brain cells are in a temporary holding pattern due to being soaked in heroin.]

I was watching him on the news at work, freeper type laughed...said Kennedy sounded like he was about to piss his pants, thought he must be nervous or lying.

[That Freeper was very, very cruel. RFK, Jr. does NOT sound like he is about to piss in his pants. He sounds like he is about to crap in his pants.]

He's got his father's charisma and gravitas. A true-BLUE liberal with a conscience…..

[…..And several kilos of heroin.]

I agree he would be great but...The voice is thing would hold him back, unless hes just had a cold for a long time

[Yeah, yeah! That’s all it is. A cold for which he took lots of Nyquill…..laced with heroin.]

He's got some kind of a neurological disease...and has to get injections into his vocal chords every few months.

[Yup! Those heroin injections into the vocal chords are just the right cure.]

Why does he oppose off shore wind power?

[Because he wants those big windmills in someone else’s backyard.]

Too much personal baggage...He had a problem with heroin when he was younger. I'd prefer him to be in a cabinent position--Secretary of the Interior or something like that.

[Or maybe Drug Czar.]

RFK Jr. for Pres, with Ron Reagan Jr. as VP ?

[A great team!---Yo-Yo and Tutu!]

I honestly can see Reagan Jr. running for elected office in a red state and winning.

[Is ballet director an elected office?]

Nasty divorce...rather messy personal life. Other than that, if we can nominate someone like Clinton (who was a total sleaze bag), we can certainly do better with Kennedy who has a solid record of progressive accomplishments. I would certainly be interested in seeing him run.

[Great reasoning there, Mr. Political Genius.]

Those DUMmies must be injecting heroin for even considering the possibilty of RFK, Jr. becoming president. I sort of hate to kill this DUmmie Thread by featuring it here in the DUmmie FUnnies but it was too much of a nugget to not use right away. Let me know if you wish to be on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List if you are not already on it.

Maybe they can dig up Wellstone and run him...if dead Dummies vote why can't they also run for office? Appropos of nothing in particular when is Fat Teddy gonna shuffle off *his* mortal coil? Can you imagine the orgiastic media frenzy when THAT happens? I shudder to think on it.

Sometimes I read the rantings of these DUmmies and wonder if we might become too complacent.

Very sound advice, 68 grunt. I shall remember that as a rule to live by. There was a great Richard Pryor skit where he played a junkie and he's talking about how his mother threw him out of the house and cut him off "Just because I stole her television set ....(perfectly timed comedic pause)...That's the politics, baby!"

Hmmm. Democrats dredging up a Kennedy when they get their butts kicked.

I guess it is true what they say in Proverbs: Like a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool always returns to his folly.

Jr. Is so snooty and condescending that he would turn most off. Interesting comment about Clinton from a DUmmie, though..

Missouri, 2000. We elected a dead man for senator. so, there is precedent. ;-)

DU is so infiltrated with undercover FReepers that the Clinton comment could easily just be some subtle spin intended to slowly warp the collective DU mindset . . . there may be more undercover FReepers in DU than natives . . . could explain why every thread seems more delusional than the next . . . just FReepers having fun with the dull liberal minds . . .
