Leering is not innocent. It is bad behavior and merits rebuke. This is hard to accept in the current unbuttoned public culture but it is a truth. The lady should have stood her ground.
But was he leering?
You're either oblivious as to how these women gain clicks on their websites or are a part of it. The web is full of women who tried the same stunt only to be called out on it. This dope, Jessica Fernandez, could have saved herself at legal nightmare if she had spent 5 minutes online seeing other women fail at the same lie.
Keep in mind, she apologized for her "mistake" because she knows she's caught.
Company's that tried to capitalize on such fake "misogyny" by building women-only gyms lost a lot of money.
I get more than enough women sneering at me when I refuse to make eye contact with them at the gym. It’s always the little hotties in short shorts and sport bras. Most of them are there to harass men. They desperately want validation from men but need to act offended by it. They’re not
The commonly used term for it back in the "Jim Crow" South was "reckless eyeballing."
And back then, too, only men of a certain, umm, persuasion would be accused of it.
Though today, it seems to apply more to "good looks" than "race."
Regards,
There is no ground to stand on when you are a narcissistic "social influencer" whose only claim to societal success is being a self proclaimed "social influencer"
And for the record, since when did "social influencer" become a permanent fixture in the English language?
I tell you, it is a real art form to stare, leer, ogle and lust for without looking like you are staring, leering, ogling or lusting. I’m still trying to master it. The best I can do so far is a quick, surreptitious glance, quickly averting my gaze. At my age, at least they think I’m the doting grandfather type. At least I hope they think that.
The fine line between being friendly, politely chatting, and flirting is another one that can be hard to discern.
That was no lady. Ho Ho Ho.
