In a stirring concession speech following last night's election loss, Kamala Harris announced she would work to ensure a peaceful transition of power to the man she called Adolf Hitler for the last year. After losing a lopsided contest to former President Donald Trump — who she spent years warning Americans was the gravest threat to democracy — Harris vowed to accept his victory and help the man she told voters was a ruthless, totalitarian dictator take control of the highest office in the land. "It's my responsibility to make sure this tyrannical despot assumes power," Harris told the crowd...

A driver was struck and killed while getting out of his car to cross a Rhode Island highway where people were seen scrambling to pick up loose cash, according to reports. Kevin Elliot McCourt stopped his car on I-95 in Providence around 5:40 a.m. Wednesday and had already walked across the southbound lanes when he was fatally struck by a Volkswagen SUV on the northbound side, WJAR reported. The deadly accident came as civilians and cops were filmed chasing down dollar bills that were flying around on the same highway, NBC News said. However, police have not yet confirmed if...

The Manhattan judge who oversaw Donald Trump’s hush-money criminal trial is expected to announce next week if the now-president-elect’s historic felony conviction will still stand. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan had already delayed sentencing by more than four months to come after the election — and gave himself until next Tuesday to decide if the conviction should be tossed. Trump’s overwhelming election win will now further embolden his legal team “to make sure that sentencing never happens,” CNN chief legal affairs correspondent Paula Reid noted late Wednesday. “Here, they’re going to argue to the judge that the sentencing should...

1) Deport undocumented migrants While campaigning, Trump promised the biggest mass deportations of undocumented migrants in US history. 2) Moves on economy, tax and tariffs Exit poll data has suggested the economy was a key issue for voters. Trump has promised to "end inflation" - which rose to high levels under President Joe Biden before falling again. But a president's power to directly influence prices is limited. 3) Cut climate regulations During his first presidency, Trump rolled back hundreds of environmental protections and made America the first nation to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement. 4) End Ukraine war Trump...

PDJT has not been seen or heard from since election night. His last Truth Social post was to encourage California voters to get to the polls. Is he huddled with his team, or resting?

President-elect Trump is expected to get to work immediately upon taking office enacting major changes on immigration, energy and foreign policy. Trump late last year suggested he would not rule as a dictator “except for day one,” a sign he intends to use executive authority aggressively to implement changes to immigration policy and energy policy in particular. Trump has also signaled he would move swiftly to roll back protections for transgender youth, and he would fire the man prosecuting a criminal case against him. Here’s a look at what Trump has said he will do “on day one.” **SNIP** Energy...

The people surrounding Joe Biden blame Nancy Pelosi for Kamala Harris' election loss as Democrats have begun to bicker over who caused the party's disaster. It came as the president, 82, reacted to Harris' concession speech at Howard University Wednesday. The blame game went into overdrive last night, as Biden confidants told senior White House reporters they hold the former Speaker of the House responsible for him leaving the race. 'Bidenworld' sources claim that not only should the president have stayed in the race but that he would have won the white working class voters who Harris largely ceded to...

The congressional task force investigating the July and September assassination attempts against former President Donald Trump says the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has "failed to produce" certain materials the task force requested as part of its ongoing probe into both incidents. On Oct. 3, the task force sent a letter to the ATF about 17 "requests for production as well as three categories of requests for select transcribed interviews with relevant ATF agents who provided support or response functions in connection with the" assassination attempts against Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, and in West Palm Beach, Florida. The...

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., appeared somber and teary-eyed while waiting to see defeated candidate Vice President Kamala Harris make a concession speech on Wednesday. Arriving at Howard University in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday afternoon, Pelosi was photographed greeting Harris supporters while appearing tearful. In a particularly emotional picture, Pelosi pouted as if just about to weep, and had watery eyes. Other pictures showed Pelosi smiling at the event and mingling with attendees. Harris' concession speech comes after a historic neck-and-neck presidential race ended with a victory for former President Trump early Wednesday morning. While the election was expected...

With Republicans back in control of the Senate, the real drama begins next week when lawmakers return to Washington. Three contenders are jockeying to succeed Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) as GOP leader: Minority Whip John Thune of South Dakota, John Cornyn of Texas and Rick Scott of Florida. The leadership vote is slated to take place Nov. 13. McConnell, the longest-serving party leader in Senate history, announced in February he would step down from the role following this year’s elections. The mild-mannered Kentucky sage had a bitter falling out with former President Donald Trump during the aftermath of the 2020...

PALM BEACH, FL — The day after scoring a sweeping win to retake the White House, President-Elect Donald Trump stunned the American people and proved true what so many had tried to warn about by sporting a new mustache for his victory speech. The facial hairstyle, which evoked comparisons to a prominent European leader from the 1930s as well as silent film star Charlie Chaplin, was a drastic change from the traditionally clean-shaven Trump -- a clear indication that America should expect the worst. "Don't say we didn't warn you about this," said one despondent journalist. "We've been telling everyone...

In the wake of their crushing defeat in the 2024 presidential election, Democrats have begun to call for abolishing the popular vote. "Look, it's 2024 and I think it's time to let go of this antiquated and undemocratic idea of a ‘popular vote,'" said U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. "Our democracy is simply too fragile to just award the Presidency to whoever wins the most votes. We must come up with an alternative, like maybe a college of electors." Democrats warned that the counting up the number of votes to see who received more was textbook fascism. "Democracy cannot survive in...

The BBC saying come Jan 20. Trump will end the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.. One of my biggest issues so I'm delighted. The report from the BBC was decent they said it was "history" and "one of the biggest political comebacks ever" and played clips from his victory speech. Oh and the First Family are a picture !

Manhattan’s district attorney was held in contempt by a state court for refusing to turn over plea deal documents with a doctor who was later convicted as a sexual predator. DA Alvin Bragg’s office must now comply with the subpoena to produce documents related to 2014 criminal action against perv Dr. Robert Hadden, Judge Richard G. Latin ruled last month. Attorney Anthony DiPietro, who is representing hundreds of Hadden’s victims in the civil suit, is also seeking the DA’s communications with Hadden’s longtime employer, Columbia University, in relation to Hadden’s 2016 no-jail plea deal with Bragg’s predecessor, former DA Cyrus...

Kamala Harris was caught in an embarrassing Election Day gaffe after flipping her smartphone around to the cameras while claiming to be 'on the phone with a voter' - only to reveal she wasn't on a call at all. 'Have you voted already?' a beaming Harris said into the phone. Then she paused as though listening, before exclaiming: 'You did, thank you!' The vice president then turned her phone screen around to adoring supporters at the Democrat party's Washington, DC headquarters, who applauded and cheered. But viewers at home were lightening quick to point out that her phone appeared to...
