precocious \pri-KOH-shus\, adjective:
precociously; adverb
precocity, precociousness; noun
1. Characterized by or characteristic of exceptionally early development or maturity (especially in mental aptitude); as, "a precocious child"; "a precocious achievement."
2. (Botany) Flowering or fruiting early.
3. 1. Ripe or mature before the proper or natural time; early or prematurely ripe or developed; as, precocious trees.

I don't think he will resign. Withdrawl is possible, but ineffective, because they cannot get a new candidate on the Ballot.

Legally, I think there is an issue either/any way with getting a new name on the ballot after Sept. 16th. Of course watch the D's bypass this rule. Another Democrat Dirty Trick(TM) is in the works.

Dave who? Oh. Bonior. He's gone anyway and is going to be replaced by Candice Miller(Sec of State and GOP).
