Trump and his endorsements suck (again)

Sorry but it has to be said. His endorsements suck once again. He's terrible at them.

He's supporting Mike Rogers the Bush-era Neocon in MI who is basically responsible for FISA and its very use against him when he was president.

He's supportive of Mike Johnson the RINO/Democrat Speaker and was said to have intervened last week to get that foreign aid package passed!

NOT HELPFUL DON ...

Why is he cosying up to these people?

Trump now understands that his base is not enough to win. He has to unite the party or Biden will win again

No, the problem are people, such as yourself, that will make excuses and overlook everything in a fit of expediency. You just bend over and take it because you fear the alternative. Why not grow a pair and demand more, speak up, have an opinion? Or are your values so fleeting and loosely held that it really doesn’t matter to you?

I’d say Trump is using Mike Johnson for some purpose you and I are not privy to.

I think he does.

He can’t just bring in all his own people from outside. That would cause a revolt within his party, the bureaucracy, by Congress.

He already is surrounded by sharks that feel they are entitled to the job because they paid their party dues, the McCain’s, Bush’s etc. He already is surrounded by bureaucrats that want to see him fail and sabotage him since he doesn’t do as told and even dares cuts budgets and rolls back some of their powers / authority.

These are ego maniacs, narcissists, power hungry animals, that in reality do not care one damn bit about the Constitution or us (the people). If Trump were to bring in his own folks, they would end like Flynn and Trump would make so many enemies and have no allies, to where he’s incapable of pushing any sort of agenda.

Even Trump needs allies if he’s going to get anything done.

Make to many high ranking enemies and even if you’re a bull (strong willed, independent thinker, wealthy, high energy...) you’ll end up like this: https://padresteve.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/murder_julian_cesar_b.jpg Figuratively or literally.

IMHO

Folks in his own party will conspire against him, collaborate with the political enemy, if he were to merely bring in good folks that are dependable, effective, and on board with a conservative agenda, but bypass all the swamp.

To some degree, he has to bring in swamp creatures so that they don’t try to eat him and keep the other swamp creatures they have control over in line.

Two huge advantages the Democrats enjoy today is that the bureaucracy and MSM/big tech are favorable to them.

They can leverage this in their political maneuvers: games being played like with Trump now being in court or J6 where all the grassroots opposition leaders were eliminated in one swoop. They are also able to control perceptions much better since the MSM is roughly 75-80% pro Democrat, most of big tech is pro Democrat.

Trump is going to have a hard time as it is.

“Trump is a malignant narcissistic with no psychological core whatsoever.”

“Malignant”???

And you know this how?

You got that from CNN? The New York Times?

Or you just pulled it out of your ass because you have no other source of intelligence?

I bet you actually believe your own stupidity.

“President Trump is doing all he can to save the USA from evil people, who want to COMPLTELY DESTROY IT, and HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS.”

Follow Christ and you’ll never be defeated and you will be rewarded with everlasting life. Follow Man and you will receive eternal damnation .

Only Christ can save this nation and whatever does happen will be God’s Will.

I’m basically saying that if one makes their personal relationship with Christ the utmost priority, it will all work out for that person.

Nope, shows how damnably deceitful and stupid you really are. Nevertrumpers are as bad as hard leftists, just dumber.

Congrats.

No, he’s regularly been posting about Amash running.

And this is a Senate race, so no district would apply.

It's pretty clear to me that Rand Paul and his FReeper fan (RandFan) are being intentionally dishonest when they say their motivation for complaining about Trump endorsing Rogers is they are just trying to prevent him from being tarnished by backing bad candidates, and that think Trump should "stay out of the GOP primary and let conservatives decide for themselves"

The REAL motivation is they obviously want that loose canon lunatic traitor Justin Amash back in power, and the ONLY way he can slip in is if enough GOP voters are uninformed about what a wackjob he is. When Trump and other high profile candidates talk about the candidates, primary voters will realize Amash is to LEFT of Rogers, which would kill his chances of making it thru a GOP primary. So they Trump and others to STFU so Amash can sell his "I'm the TRUE constitutional conservative candidate, Rogers is RINO scum" talking point to gullible GOP primary voters, and not have any high profile Republicans inform voters otherwise.

No matter how much they yell otherwise, they are obviously NOT "concerned" about Rogers being disloyal to Trump, otherwise they wouldn't touch Amash (who is 10X worse than Rogers and was openly considered for "service" as a "House Manager" of the Trump impeachment trial in the Senate to prosecute Trump for his "crimes") with a 10ft. pole. Crying about Rogers backstabbing Trump -- while ignoring Amash's treason -- is laughable.

Even putting aside Amash's insane level of Trump-hate, if you just look at his voting record on legislation, he is in no way the "more conservative" candidate in the primary, and routinely was the "lone Republican" in Congress to vote with "the Squad" on various bills. Amash is only a "true conservative" if your idea of "conservative" is voting for open borders, celebrating the "LGBTQ community", allow unrestricted abortion on demand, condemning Israel and refusing to lift a finger against Hamas, etc., etc.

Rogers has his flaws, but his voting record is actually pretty conservative, and he is not nearly as bad a "RINO" as the Paulbots pretend he is. Even if he was the actual RINO they pretend he is, he'd STILL be better than Amash, if no other reason we won't have a pro-Palestinian Hamas sympathizer and fanatical Trump-hater on "our side" in the U.S. Senate. That kinda stuff makes real RINO scumbag like Susan Collins look decent in comparison.

Complaining about Trump's bad endorsements IS a legitimate topic, and NO ONE has been more outspoken about Trump's crappy endorsements in the past than me (I was against it LONG before it was cool, I was vehemently against Rex Tillerson from SOS when a bunch of FReepers wanted to rubber stamp his appointment, for example). I'm not against Trump's "bad endorsements" here, because Trump has to deal with the cards he was dealt. Endorsing Rogers over Amash is not "bad", anymore than Winston Churchill teaming up with Stalin to take out Hitler was.

No doubt, but unless he has someone better to offer up, besides Rand Paul. Then all he is doing is providing fodder for those who dislike Trump such as joesbucks.

Not helpful at al, because he may sway someone who is on the fence to not vote for Trump.

We know Trump is willing to not only stand up to the Deep State, but to work to defeat them as well. I can't be as certain about Rand Paul doing what Trump has started & is continuing the battle.
