One of my favorite movies. I'm just of world news. Extended lunch and it came on. Excellent movie. They wasted like 8 Mustangs.
Runaway was the best actress but Jacqueline Bisset was the most beautiful.
I find the ending chase through the airport the most exciting part of the film. More so than the car chase.
There’s a moment where the Charger loses it and runs into the cameraman filming from his point of view. The screen flashes rapidly and cuts out. Next is McQueen stopping and doing a 25ft burnout with his axels jumping.
Bisset in my book. She looked lovely in “The Deep”.
I have trouble choosing between McGraw and Bisset.
Going with Bisset.
The bad guy’s shotgun is a US ordnance marked Winchester 1897.
McGraw always wore her hair short in movies except Love Story. Even wore it short in “Convoy” with Kris Kristofferson. It kinda turned me off.
Interesting, thought t the first pump was a model 12. Cool.
I’ll have to re watch, there’s the 1897 in there somewhere.
I love the sound of a V8. As good as the 390 sounded that 440 wedge had a sound all it’s own. Best part of the movie.
Tom Cruise’s first Jack Reacher with the Chevelle 454 was really close.
Big fan of 12’s though, especially in 16 gauge.
Q: I thought that money didn’t matter to artists?
A: It costs money to have a soul.
(Re)watched it last year - lots of action but the “dialogue” left something to be desired, (like words).
I read somewhere that Robert Vaughn said that his role in Bullet was his favorite of all the movies he made. He plays a good sniveling politician; still wanted a deposition from a man who murdered others.
I’m okay with Bisset as the prettiest, but Dunaway was the sexiest, hands down. If it was me playing chess with her, I’d end up forgetting how the pieces are supposed to move.
Another vote for Bisset.

Behind-the-scenes footage includes McQueen and BIll Hickman (Charger driver) practicing the chase in Cotati, Calif., prior to filming.
Watched it yesterday on Philo channel. I’ve watched it at least 10 times since it came out. Excellent movie. Steve McQueen was a great actor.
