HarrisX Poll: Trump Beating Biden by 5 Points
NewsMax ^ | Monday, 25 September 2023 | Eric Mack

Just one day after The Washington Post/ABC News poll called its own poll "an outlier" for having former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden by 10 points in a potential 2024 race, another poll has come in with a strong Trump lead over the incumbent.

In a hypothetical head-to-head matchup, Trump leads Biden by 5 points (46%-41%) in the latest HarrisX poll released Monday, which is well outside of the small margin of error of plus or minus 1.8 percentage points.

Notably, all of the recent RealClearPolitics Polling Average polls from September have Trump leading Biden or at least in a virtual or statistical tie.

Inside the HarrisX numbers, Trump leads Biden by 8 points among independents (42%-34%) and 10 points among third-party voters (25%-15%).

Also, there is a large majority (69%) of registered voters who say Biden should not run for reelection, including 78% of independents and 93% of third-party voters.

Biden remains 16 points underwater on his approval rating as a net 56% disapprove of the job he is doing and just 40% approve (which is largely just the 75% of Democrats polled). Only 8% of Republicans, 9% of third-party voters, and 33% of independents approve of Biden.

Trump remains a 42-point runaway in the GOP presidential primary polling with HarrisX:

  1. Trump 56%
  2. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis 14%
  3. Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley 5%
  4. Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy 5%
  5. Former Vice President Mike Pence 3%
  6. Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., 2%
  7. Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie 2%
  8. Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson 1%
  9. Conservative broadcaster Larry Elder 1%
  10. North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum 1%
  11. Texas businessman Ryan Binkley 1%
  12. Former Rep. Will Hurd, R-Texas, 1%
  13. Former Montana Secretary of State Corey Stapleton 1%
  14. Michigan businessman Perry Johnson 0%
  15. Miami Mayor Francis Suarez (no longer running) 0%

There was 1% choosing "someone else," and 7% undecided.

Is this a push poll favoring Xao Bi-Dung that he can’t even win?

So who will take Joe’s place? Deadline for filing in most states is pretty soon.

Or will the Dems parachute Big Mike or Gavin in at the convention?

I hope this means that the American public has seen that Trump cares about them and that biden has already sold them down the river.
biden’s last year is going to be brutally bad. He’s going to do everything he promised to do as a condition of being handed the presidency. Our republic has been gravely wounded. Only a Trump can make it recover by showing the public that American greatness is once again possible.

Hmmmm...so given the choice of one guy who’s been indicted 90 times on a lot of piddly charges that most prosecutors wouldn’t even bother with vs another guy who’s probably been using his positions in government to gain millions of dollars for himself, and very probably engaged in extortion and bribery by using the prospect of a billion dollar gift to the Ukraine to get a prosecutor fired - against his own country’s policy.....not a real hard choice for me...... -

Thanks for posting. I thought the ABC/WP poll might be a precursor, rather than an outlier. Keep an eye on the generic congressional ballot. Let’s see how bad things start to look for down-ticket Democrats.

Trump should talk about this and add to his youth vote.

IRS rule Biden and Dems passed from 20,000$ required reporting, now reduced to 600$

Concert tickets
Venmo app
Etsy

Dems said it would catch wealthy tax cheats but would not have caught Hunter Biden or Bob Menendez.

Republicans could talk about it at a presser, but naw, Ukraine!

Trump leads Biden by 5 points (46%-41%)...

And that includes the double-counting of Democrat votes!
