I then let him know I have Jewish family and I should ask them to let me in on the “Plan.”

I think your numbers are a bit off because you misread this passage from Wikipedia:

There were 300,000 ZIONISTS in Russia BEFORE 1917 - NOT JUST 300,000 Jews in Russia. There were 958 Jews IN the Bolshevik party when the revolution started and many more joined after its success.
