Why do none of these articles seem to cover WHY they were released?
I know there was an appeal to a higher court. Was that why? WHAT HAPPENED? That’s journalism 101. Come on. (not you, the article writers)

From what I could make of it, they were pretty much not allowed a defense and the first court was wrong about jailing them

Watched Viva Frei's Sunday livestream with Robert Barnes and they did have some background on the case, but I do not recall at what point of the interview. (Viva Frei is a recently red pilled Canadian lawyer, and Robert Barnes is a high level patriotic American lawyer and more recently a non-main stream source of news and commentary on legal matters).
I find that regular news reports are rather uninformative and vague in comparison.
