Former President Donald Trump continued his attacks against billionaire Elon Musk from his platform Truth Social on Tuesday, saying he’d be “worthless” without government subsidies.
Recalling the billionaire’s visit to the White House during his presidency, Trump said that Musk wanted government subsidies for many of his projects that offered big promises without delivering many rewards. Trump said:
When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it’s electric cars that don’t drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocketships to nowhere, without which subsidies he’d be worthless, and telling me how he was a big Trump fan and Republican.

Twitter and Truth Social are competitive platforms. Musk wanted to buy the competition for Truth Social. Get it? Can’t you boobs see the commercial aspect of this faux feud?
The Don was Elon during the Clinton years.

Now Don is worried because Elon has big appetites and enough money to buy many Dons.
Trump IS running in ‘24. Desantis is too smart to run prematurely in ‘24.
I watch and he say nothing about the issues facing us. If he keeps this up, bashing everyone he does not like, He will turn off the votes and the Republican will not gain control of the house or senate.
He stuck his nose into the PA primary and we now have two republicans that will lose this November.
His nasty tweets turn independent votes off.
You want him to state his plans for when he is re-re-elected?
I’ve got them. He is going to make sure all our commerce, alliances and other international relationships are very reciprocal. He is going to secure the borders and finish the big, beautiful wall. He is going to eschew foreign wars when they have no national security implications for us. He will make international decisions based on America first. He will work closely with the Republican Congress. He will hit back when others, especially the media, lay into him with lies. He will re-revitalize the military and get rid of woke-ism at the top.
He will take down the Cadaver’s executive orders and put his old ones back in, and then some. He will even seek to have his policies codified via legislation passed by the (R) Congress.
What will he do different from before? I’d bet he will keep RINOs and dem interlopers out of the ranks of his admin. He will certainly fire the top echelons of the FBI and CIA.
Prevent election fraud by suing the states that promote it. He now has a Court that will uphold the admin when it insists on enforcing the law.
I say all this only because you seem to be inquisitive on these points.

It may be pure jealousy on Trump’s part that Musk is far richer than he is.
The problem with Trump in some of these things is this makes him look very petty and I would rather have Musk as an Ally, not an enemy or a rival. If Musk was a natural Born Citizen maybe he would run for President, but he can’t.
So if not Trump then who?
I like Trump as a real businessman and darn good President. I despise his tweets etc. Trump quit bashing people. You can say -” I disagree”. Your daughter has turned on you. Distance yourself from those who have turned on you.
Musk was bashing Trump all day on Monday. Now it’s Trump stop bashing people? So only bash on Musk’s terms?
Is this an issue that voters care about at all? No.
Is this an issue that benefits Trump in some way? No.
Is this an issue that could turn off potential supporters? Yes.
Tell me why he's right to spend time on this? I know, getting into celebrity feuds is something he did before he was President so it's "on-brand" but Elon Musk is not Rosey O'Donnell.
He pulls off these rallies by rote.

I have stopped watching Trump rallies.
My reply was to this comment; “Musk is a snake oil salesman, nothing more.”
He’s obviously not, why would you make such a foolish statement? It’s similar to what Trump said, which also was foolish and ignorant.
