Those mentioned here all had talent and channeled it in ways that are not conducive to what we stand for. Subtract the idiots who had 2 parents and still screwed up and it’s not even. More girlie men out there. Most guys with a father eventually get it.
I think that’s reason to cut him out of the will.
I don’t think he’s any better now than before from the article. He’s still an arrogant brat. He’s the kind of kid we would ignore and keep at arms length because we just didn’t want to hear his arrogant BS, until he got in someone’s face and went too far, then he got smacked hard and daddies money didn’t save him.
That being said I grew up around some kids who were well to do and they fit right in with the rest of us because they were not pretentious and didn’t flaunt their status.

You’re right. from the article, the rest of that statement is telling as to his personal opinions and obvious problems:

Okay, a thug, a mindless goon, a recreational drug addict, and a woman beater and abuser. This is something to be jealous of? I don’t agree with Tom Hank’s political thoughts, but I would have to say he is, at least, feeling partially responsible for his son’s stupidity and violence (shouldn’t) and has been patient with him. Parents always look at themselves first when something with a child goes wrong. His dad should have tossed him aside a long time ago. Still should.

Can understand how a kid who was raised watching “Big” and “Forrest Gump” continuously, growing up in LA did not have a “strong male role model”. Real privilege with lifelong insights came from growing up in NY metropolitan Italian-American families and neighborhoods.
