Well, I responded;
Email distribution list? Text lists.
Everybody makes their choices.
There was NEVER a word about security for at LEAST the first year as I stumbled around the internet.
Discovering FreeRepublic at that time was a golden event.
.... and I attempted on line buying using my credit card, never believing the computer would rob me.
(I never lost anything on the internet sales thing)
But I was not THAT careful (nothing like today) about information. The moment your real name gets attached to an internet account, devious people can find you and yours.
Conservatives need to stay on Fakebook..
Report every ad as offensive..
Report every lib as offensive..

The other night someone I know said she got censored on Facebook for advocating violence because she responded to “What would you do if someone broke into your house?” with, “I’d hit them with my baseball bat.”
I told my wife, “If I were still on Facebook, I would have responded: It’s OK. She’s a flaming liberal.”

I would recommend you get yourself banned from fakebook, since they won’t let you leave. You have to close the door on them ever letting you back in.
Use your imagination. You know what their hot buttons are.
I was permanently banned within minutes of my post excoriating zuckerberg, fakebook, and democRATs in general.
It was quite satisfying actually.
I am a conservative and I am still on facebook because it keeps me connected with my kids in their three different states, with Jane who was a friend in school but we drifted apart after, with my former students are live on every continent in the world except Antarctica, and with our friends in Sentani, a rather unknown town on the edge of the jungle in Papua, Indonesia. There is no other vehicle yet that enables me to do that.
The reality is if you avoid everything recommended for boycott on FR, you’re gonna have to become Amish.
Messenger on FB. You can suspend your account and use messenger to keep connected. That’s what i do.
Ever hear of telegraph. You can call and talk and see them all at once. Screw facebook.
