Democrats are evil.
All the more reason for Michiganders of both parties to encourage Slo-Joe to pick her for the VP slot!
She can’t campaign and be GOV at the same time!
This sort of thing is what you get when your medical care depends on a bureaucrat OR a politician. Medicare for all! Yeah.
Ever been to Michigan? People are not normal up there. Hunting season down by Holland is purely insane.
“You can set up petition tables outside grocery stores, Lowes, restaurants, on street corners.”
There are signs up here on private businesses “No petitioning permitted at this time”.
“There are signs up here on private businesses No petitioning permitted at this time.
What the hell is wrong with you people and all your stupid excuses?
Set up your petition tables on public property. Ask the sheriff for protection to exercise your constitutional right to petition. The sheriff and his deputies are armed and have SWAT teams. The state patrol weenies won’t come near you.
Nail broadsheet petitions on trees.
Juris Doctor is simply an educational designation. One who graduates from law school has a JD whether or not they pass the bar.
LE, whatever agency, would tell you to move on. If you protested on constitutional grounds they would say “You can sue us later. For now, move on”. They will not permit any activity meant to attract a gathering or violate the six foot rule.
“One who graduates from law school has a JD whether or not they pass the bar.”
JD is one of the designations Law Schools may confer, the LL. B. is another(Legum Baccalaureus. The J.D. is not to be confused with Doctor of Laws or Legum Doctor (LLD or LL.D.).
Last month Gen McCaffrey was pushing Amy Klobochar as the ideal VP candidate. He's a great wind vane.
Very few use LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) these days. I do have an LL.M, (Master of Laws), which I received from a couple of years of concentrated study (tax law) after getting my J.D.
Yep. The JD is common but is not the only possibility. Congrats on your LLM, where did you get that from?
There is no chance they will recall. They tried to recall Engler and that failed so would this. Unless the drugs prove effective and some Mi people die who wouldn’t have. Granholm had plenty of dissatisfied voters and they never came close to recalling.
“LE, whatever agency, would tell you to move on.”
So what?
The sheriff tells the Michigan State Police flunkies to get in their vehicles and drive away.
“There is no chance they will recall.”
Your defeatism is so enchanting. Enjoy the jackboot stomping in your face.
The FDA needs to file a lawsuit against the Gov. of Michigan.
She is denying life saving health care to her citizens.

Whitmer seems to be a recalcitrant juvenile. Treating covid will be considered legitimate. The wording is so that docs dont prescribe it for stockpiling....just in case they or their families or friends do get it. Look how many true aholes hoarded all that toilet paper for no reason except selfish fear.

Have a family member who is a pharmacist in Michigan. She says that she checked on availability of hydroxychloroquine with their supplier this afternoon:
“There was none available from any manufacturer in any package size—about 15 to 20 products total. One had estimated availability on April 8, the rest April 30.”
So, if the ruling was for the purpose to avoid hoarding, there may have been legitimate concerns about supplies. But if that was the purpose, it was a terribly written directive.
Ouch, that hits a nerve. Just because we consider the November 15th firearm deer opener to be “like Christmas but with guns”...
Well it is a good thing for people in Michigan that Trump signed an order that allows doctors to practice across state lines then huh?
At least sick people should be able to get a prescription for it, guess that is not saying they can get it filled though.
