Is Bigfoot "hanging out" in the Buckeye state?

Two men claim to have spotted the legendary creature in Salt Fork State Park in Eastern Ohio and a video of their purported “sighting” has gone viral.

“My friend and I got permission to fly our drones at Salt Fork State Park in Ohio,” one of the men writes, in a post accompanying the video. “While we were there we heard many strange noises and we believe we may have found the Ohio Grassman/Bigfoot/Sasquatch.” Ohio Grassman is a local nickname for Bigfoot.

Not a well done video. Clearly a human being walking. The original Patterson footage is however compelling. The “bigfoot” in that footage clearly walks with a gate unlike a human, and when it turns it’s head, it turns it’s entire torso and not the neck as do actual apex primates today. That was an extremely compelling aspect of the Patterson footage as these guys wouldn’t have really known that type of behavior at that time.

This footage, however, in Ohio? Was merely some yokel walking around in the cold dying to get it over with so they could head to the local pub.

Alas, this appears to be a hoax, complete with GoFundMe link. "There it is, a few feet away apparently, peeking between two trees! Oops, we lost him!" Ridiculous.

My friend and I got permission to fly our drones at Salt Fork State Park in Ohio. While we were there we heard many strange noises and we may or may not have found the Ohio Grassman / Bigfoot / Sasquatch in Ohio at Salt Fork. Not much in the way of bigfoots in Wisconsin, the werewolves are just too territorial.

The Patterson film from 1967 is still the best look at a ‘Squatch close up. Back before the days of Velcro fasteners and realistic false faces that would make a hair suit believable.

The only reason they got so close was because they were on horseback. The adult female Bigfoot did not consider horses a threat, and their scent may have masked the human scent that might have warned her off.

Analysts who reviewed the film noted that the stride length, body proportions and muscle rippling under the skin debunked the “man in a suit” accusation.

The only way this will be put to rest will be dragging in a dead one or capturing a live one.
