Another feature is that if you pull back on the handle it lights both your low and high beams simultaneously. This is especially helpful if some discourteous oaf in opposing traffic lets his hign beams glare in YOUR face. Pull back on the control, and your lights will melt his eyeballs and leave only smouldering, smoking craters where they once were. Just trying to be helpful.

Broderick Crawford made a few driving PSA spots. At the end of Highway Patrol.

Just because someone uses their turn signal...doesn’t necessarily mean they’re about to do something intelligent.

Living in Florida, surrounded by retirees, we NEVER trust a turn signal.

So the only effective way to change lanes in NYC traffic is to use the front corner of your car as the turn signal.

Once, when I was much younger, I drove in Mexico City. There, as in much of Latin America, you get what you want as a driver by just taking it. Whoever backs off first, loses. Of course size does matter, but so does nerve.

If people would just get off of MY roads then I wouldn’t need to mess with those flashy lights.
I think my blinker fluid is low anyway.

I prefer rockets. I really should mount a tray on my car.

I’m pretty sure turn signals are illegal in some states.

Size

Nerve

AND ...

My beat up, dented, scratched, 10-year-old SUV vs. some shiny new car jockeying with me for lane position.

Guess who backs off then!

Top three reasons I never buy new or even nearly new cars:
1. Devaluation
2. Expensive collusion/theft insurance
3. Peace of mind - I don’t fret over bird poop, parking bumps, or any other dents or scratches.
