So the only effective way to change lanes in NYC traffic is to use the front corner of your car as the turn signal.


Once, when I was much younger, I drove in Mexico City. There, as in much of Latin America, you get what you want as a driver by just taking it. Whoever backs off first, loses. Of course size does matter, but so does nerve.

Top three reasons I never buy new or even nearly new cars:
1. Devaluation
2. Expensive collusion/theft insurance
3. Peace of mind - I don’t fret over bird poop, parking bumps, or any other dents or scratches.
